If all you're after is DNS hosting, check out cloudflare.com. They offer DNS hosting as part of their free CND setup. I'm using it for all of my websites, super simple interface, but offers all the DNS features you'd ever need.

EDIT: OK, that'll learn me to not visit the website first… Apparently they aren't offering DNS hosting.. HODOR!!

    • Red herring but good link anywho :) I'll keep it in mind

    Good deal.

Alternatively for those who are too lazy to write a review but are happy with a free 6 month premium plan with SmartyDNS

    easternculture posted the following bargain

What is Google Pr2 or higher? Can someone post some places I can post a review that will qualify?

    • Would love to know the same!

    • A Google Pagerank refers to a website's link & backlink popularity, quality and density. A website is said to be "popular" or rich or "active" based on yearly calculated PR ranks. When a lot of quality websites backlink to a given website or viseversa that website gains "strength" in numbers, something like that…

So, basically you'll need to post a review on a website/forum/blog like Whirlpool, TripAdvisor, Blogger or a website that you know is very popular and has age…, use this tool LINK to check a website's PR, also note PR checking website are not always accurate, so Google and try other checkers….

they are bribing people to spam blogs. that's pretty low.

Apparently that's what Samsung does, so it works. >.<

    • They didn't say it had to be a positive review.
I doubt you'd get a copy on a negative review, but it might be worth a shot if you don't want to lick their boots.

They are doing it purely for the SEO benefit. So as long as your review is unique, they won't really care what you write.

Post a review on ozbargain =)

    • I was wondering if that would work?
We could have a whole thread dedicated to reviews.

    VERY VERY lame deal.

I am currently deciding if I neg it or not.

What next… deals where you get paid to install advertising signs on your front lawn?

    • Wouldn't you? If the price is right, of course.

  • Great deal, thanks OP. I think it's a very legitimate way of increasing traffic for a service which a lot of people would probably be wary about signing up to for various reasons.

    Here's my review http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/forum-replies.cfm?t=2137420

OK, that didn't work then… deleted by whirlpool as it was considered spam!!

      Reason: Spamming is not smart

      classic

in the usa, there are laws requiring bloggers to disclose their relationships with companies they endorse. not sure about australia.

      • That's completely understandable, but I'm not associated with the company in any way.

I've raised a question with the mods, will see what happens I guess

        • But you're "spamming" in return for personal gains, so, rightfully deleted I'd say.

Will give this a try thanks

  • I dont think it is that bad. Just create a blog and post a review. It should work.
I did post mine and got a response that my keywords on the blog must be have a link to their website.

So hopefully, it will be approved soon.

    Keep you all posted.

    • Got the email…approved and my account now has lifetime access :)

      • What blog did u post your review

    • Edit - I think I get what they mean
