It says in the pic that it was $1, so it's a saving of 25 cents…
It also says in the pic that it was $8.00, so it's a saving of $7.75.
It was most recently selling for $1, so it's only a 25c price drop.
When did it last sell for $8? 3 years ago? 5 years ago ?

It's still a 25% price drop, which is pretty decent, so it's not necessary to try and pretend the price saving is a lot greater than it really is.

thx need a new stand for my FELT MB
Believe it or not, I purchased three of these when at $1. One is already broken. The spot weld was not sufficient, and the stand simply detached whilst trying to support 26" bike weight.
The two on kids bikes so far are ok.
These are extendible and designed apparently for bikes of all sizes, but not sufficiently strong to support adult height and weight bikes.
Don't waste your money.
There is a reason they are on clearance.
Are these compatible with carbon-fibre frames?
