'Pay What You Can' For Circus Oz Tickets @ Birrarung Marr Melbourne - Tomorrow Night At The Door

100
CircusOzGoesBush

This offer is available from 6.30pm tomorrow until sold out. Show starts at 7.30pm.

Starting from the ground up, Circus Oz's lastest show Cranked Up features a ridiculous combination of jugglers, musicians, acrobats, riggers and aerialists. It is a celebration of diversity and an exhuberant, raw spectacle.

After this Melbourne season, for the first time, Circus Oz is going on tour to Arnhem Land - and they need your help.

To support the tour, Circus Oz are offering 300 tickets to the performance this Friday night, 5 July at 7.30pm on a 'pay what you can' basis.

Simply, this means come to the show, pay what you can for your ticket (general ticket prices range from $40 - $92) and all proceeds from this performance will go towards helping Circus Oz put on free shows in remote Indigenous communities.

This is a very special one night only deal for Test Drivers. Simply mention 'Circus Oz Goes Bush' when you get to the Big Top box office to purchase your tickets.

Don't believe me? wait and see!! Never under estiomate the GREEDY HUMAN nature!! it's alive and well.

SHAME on you folk contemplating paying bugger all!

(NOT A RANT, I'm just stating a Ugly Fact of human nature - some , not all)

    • Nice poem you got there.

    • this is to be expected, if the organisers needed more money, they could simply say 50-80% discount and ppl would still flood in droves, that is human nature as well

Why don't they just donate their takings from a regular full priced show?

    • possibly the first time they've given the show to the public. gives them time to iron out any issues to an audience who can't complain about paying full price.

Good to see this circus company does not use animals.

    • +2

humans are a form of animal

      • lol, true.

        From their website;

features animals that are 100% human

They should've just auctioned off the tickets via a promo via eBay or something similar to get the max. Hopefully cheapskates won't take the seats of those willing to pay more for the cause…

  • So how many stripey ticket holders from here today?!
