I would never buy from PLE again!
Bought an ASUS laptop from them a couple of years ago and their after sales service was terrible! They refused to help with service and repairs and didn't want anything to do with it! The sound card failed after 1 week!
When I asked them for the service centre in Perth for ASUS they sent me to ACER!
Two years is a long time to hold a grudge. If you'd said your issue happened last week, I mght be concerned, but lots can change in two years.
True but the owner hasn't changed and every time I've delt with him he was arrogant or unhelpful, like dealing with customers was beneath him and not worth his time or effort. That's just my opinion but I do still shop there because it's very convenient.
Would you give someone your business again if they were rude and unhelpful to you??
Probably wouldn't shop there in the proceeding few months, but I wouldn't NOT shop there ever again, especially after 2 years.
Given something failed in the first week and they ignored it? Not only would I never shop there again, but I'd be onto consumer protection, who would love to tell the PLE staff what they are required by law to do. With any luck, going the MSY route, and forcing PLE to PAY to train every staffperson there.
From below, I see you're talking about Wangara. I found the staff to be very rude there many years ago. I remember being particularly shocked at the managers. No problems from the sales people there these days. Haven't had any tech issues lately so can't comment on their techies.

Sorry to hear you've had this bad experience. I've shopped with them for years and found their before and after sales service to be great (Wangara store). Normally I'll only shop through them and MSY and I know what most people think of MSy (and I don't find them too bad either).

i went shopping with them and pointed out their competitor with stock is lower by 5 dollars (3 items - 15 dollars cheaper), the sale person said it's ok to price match, but there is a glicth unable to put through. So he said wait for the manager to come and put it through.
half an hour later, the manager came and said, no prioe matching allowed.
wasted my time for half an hour and I have to rush to another shop to get it (on my way back to home anyway)just frustrated that they wasted my time.
The Asus MeMo pad is $129 at dickies …
Their last sale was great, I agree though that this one is meh.
