    Seems like the popular ColoCrossing Datacenter in Buffalo, New York, AGAIN… lol

    Don't get me wrong they have good reviews, but surely someone is overselling here, I don't know about the speeds or load averages you will experience under this shared account, but I have seen dozens of new small start-up hosting firms popping up using this DC and offering bloated quotas…

      Since SmartArtist have reneged on the "for life" cheap hosting that hightekhosting offered before they were taken over, who would you switch to then?

    I'm going to check if they offer an alternative port for outgoing mail other than 25 for SMTP. I've signed up to test but it recommends using port 25…..which is painful for us. Our Aussie ISPs usually block port 25, and people won't understand why they can't send at home or on various ISPs with recommended mail settings.

    Other hosts I use offer alternative port 26, 2525 or 587 (as an example) so clients can set their outgoing port to the alternative, and as this isn't blocked by ISPs you can use the same setting for sending mail from any ISP/location.

    I'm game to try it, at that price you don't need many (or any) other sites hosted to pay for itself :) Will update when I find out if anyone is interested :)

    Just an update - I did ask for an alternate outgoing port, and they have enabled one for me, so that was a win. So far so good :)
