    Double check if the flights sold on Flightcentre is on QF/VA compared to JQ.

  tempted to get the $220 return Mel-Cairns on Tiger for June. Flightcentre is $189 one way!

    That would be on QF…
    Don't compare Flightcentre to an airline, compare airline against airline. FC is only a travel agent.

      maybe im pointing out that flightcentre sucks balls and has become almost redundant in todays world, or at least in the ozbargain community

        FC are only selling tickets from airlines. Comparing a higher price from VA/QF to JQ is hardly pointing out how FC suck.
        Mentioning their poor service or high booking fees would be pointing out how they suck.

  These prices reflect sales had by QF and VA. Just book direct with the airline and save the $19.95 booking fee! (Well save some… there are booking fees on the airline pages but they're less than FC's ripoff). Or use a different online TA such as Zuji that don't have a booking fee.

  Syd to Gold Coast sale prices are usually $35 each way. I booked my return flight for $70 pp to the gold coast earlier in April only to find that they had a $10 each way sale 2 days later.

  I guess you should compare if you need flight with the extras like food, luggage etc. not sure if this offer includes any of the extras that are chargeable on the budget air lines.
