  • Rofl… you can get a Samsung 51" full HD plasma for less than this.

    • Plasma & samsung.. pass.

      Good value this offer but is 50hz & would like 2 or 3 yr wty included.

      • Plasma > LCD. Samsung > Soniq. 51 > 48.

        • -1

          LED > Plasma != Samsung > Soniq

        • Yeah, um, you probably also believe Sharp are better because they have a yellow pixel. Rofl. LED is no better than LCD, it's just a more energy efficient type of backlight. The thing that determines picture quality is the type of panel used (IPS, PVA, MVA, etc), and the color gamut (wide gamut, etc). Plasma don't even have any of these issues, they are better, period.

        • Depends on your point of view, both screens have its Pros and Cons, period.

        • Methinks MrZ has upgraded his old Trinitron…I wonder if he perchance bought a plasma??? :p

          I prefer pepsi, myself…

        • I'm not sure if "upgrade" is the right word to use, as I still have and plan to use the Trinitron as a 2nd TV. The plasma I now have for 1080p stuff, as the Trinitron unfortunately can only resolve resolutions up to 720p (not that you really need resolutions above that on a 34" TV).

        • not this again…

  • This tv and price is about as exciting as Vaseline on toast

    • is toast a euphemism for a body part?
