  • Is this new one or customer return?

    • Brand new unopened.

      • That is good because I also bought one last Saturday for $50, that is a customer return, but it works fine after I updated the software. A new one for cheaper is definitely a very good buy.

  • Is it any good?

    • Serve the function I need. It also has speed/red light camera alert which you get update from Tomtom.

  • It's brand new.

  • $128 at JB, $158 at Big W

  • This is the cheapest I have seen them, but I am guessing it a customer return. I tried one once but it was still registered to the previous owner so I could not register it. Tom Tom support said it would take a few weeks to resolve the issue which was not much help for my road trip the next day. I ended up exchanging it for the Top Gear model which has been great.

    • it's brand new.

  • It's not a customer return. It was mentioned by Treeman in this thread a couple of days ago

        Crafty. I like!

none at gawler, elizabth or sefton (SA)

not gonna bother wasting my time calling any more stores, its been on clearance for days and the OP's receipt is dated from 2 days ago…. unlikely to be any stock anywhere

no deal if theres no stock…….

Seems like OP registered on OZB just to post this deal but could not post it immediately.

I have been following ozbargain for sometime and I thought it's time for my input. I wanted to post this immediately after my purchase but realised there is a 24hr ban before you can do the first submit.

  • Any stocks left anywhere else for the same price ??

    • Looking around Springvale.

  • Can I buy this and put US maps on it? Plan on using it for my holiday in the US. Any ideas?

    • Sure, if you're prepared to pay for a US map directly from the TomTom website. The VIA 220 should be hackable if you want to go down that route.

  • That's just around the corner from work so I'll check it out.
I overheard a worker on the phone yesterday saying anything with xx.83 on the tag is a clearance item if that's any help so that would explain why it's so cheap

    • Indeed it does.

  • went to Knox City, VIC. The only stock left was opened. I took it since it's so cheap

Glen Waverley, VIC is out of stock. All sold out on Monday

  • No luck in buranda.

  • None at Bourke St Melbourne CBD and Southland.

  • Alright who is the woman bought 5 of these gps at bendigo store.Do u want to sale one for me?

    • You'll probably find them on Ebay

  • +2

No luck in Brisbane ALL SOLD OUT.

  • Zero at Point Cook, Melb

  • Has anyone called JB, Harvey Norman, etc. or anywhere else if they would price match ?

    • Not a chance moite…. JB wouldn't even match Dicksmith's $79 deal for the same GPS a few months back. Their "lowest price guarantee" is just a joke

    • Has anyone called JB, Harvey Norman, etc. or anywhere else if they would price match ?

It's clearly marked as a clearance, so it's not going to happen. All price-matching policies specifically exclude clearance stock.

  • Most likely an once off deal with very limited stocks available.

  • None at belconnen ACT

  • wow, great price!

  • They hadn't even heard of it at Target, Westfield Marion :'(

Now I will be lost forever, because there is no chance I'm paying anywhere near the rrp of any GPS system.

  • The special is advertised on the shelf display as well. It says below cost.
I picked up 2 day before yesterday for $29.83 each. Lifetime maps. Price sticker says $129.88.
Thanks to the treeman on 22/04/2013 who I think was the first to mention it.

If your lucky there may be one or two left. Only took two phone calls to get mine.

    • Wiired, which store did you score this from?
