My first post, time to return the favour. Just bought a Buffalo 2TB external HDD USB3.0 for $139 @Myer Cbd(Vic). The model is hd-lbu3 compatible with mac and pc also can be used on usb 2.0.

The HDD has USB 2.0, Firewire and eSATA interface and is 7200rpm. Don't know the HDD maker though.
Hey, saw this in an email, im sure some of you wouldve got it too. Due to the recent floods in Thailand/Malaysia the price of hdd's have soared, as alot of the factories were destroyed.
It was briefly mentioned in the previous thread for a Samsung HDD http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/55524 but the Harvey Norman deal is still on and possibly one of the best prices for an external HDD

Keep in mind the usb 3.0 2tb drives have hit the $99 mark at big w on the odd occasion recently.
