HP 2TB USB3.0 for $89 in latest Big W catalogue.
what brand drive does the HP use?
I think these are clearances. I just tried to get one here in Oz. No one I spoke with had stock nor suppliers able to supply. At all.
The price is very good. But I got this for US$129.99+$6.41 delivered thanks to the Black Friday lightning deal from Amazon. I got it yesterday and very happy with it!
I'm interested in other 2.5" deals.
Thanks for letting us know, Doc.
I bought it at $149.99 a week ago, does anyonr know if amazon has a policy which refunds the difference?
Cheers
No. Why should they? Too bad :/
They used to within 30 days but that policy was revoked a few years ago.
When I purchased an Asus Zenbook half a year ago, the price dropped by $50 in a week. I asked for a refund in difference in price and the representative happily assisted.
But for $1.53, are you seriously going to hassle them?
Thanks for sharing mate. But I paid $150 just for the drive + shipping. So now the price dropped to $140. $10 difference I think it's worth giving it a try?
Anyone know what the warranty/RMA process is if you buy off Amazon and the drive dies?
sorry to tell you this but you were ripped off.
My total come to $147.17 AUD.
$148.47USD = $141.74 AUD
Sorry to say. No true ozbargainer uses amazon's currency convertor. You need a 28 degrees master card.
Phoebus didn't knew that he was ripped off :P
I get more benefits from my Platinum Master card. No annual fees and free travel insurance that I use at least twice a year. Just wondering what the better deal is wrt letting Amazon do the conversion or Mastercard or Paypal. They all make money from the spread.
show off!
very tempting I don't need this Ozbargain!
u need NRMA insurance. :p
I'm not sure income protections covers losses sustained from bargain websites!
just price good for me
Out of region warranty when you buy from Amazon.
Does this mean you have to post it back to the USA or what?
Got this earlier today from JB, price matching TGG at $187. Not particularly fussed with the price difference.
Then why you're on OzB? :)
damn got it the last deal, not much diff though :)……..8 days delivered to Melb. Good drive.
It is a relatively slim and stylish drive too - they were selling for $119 with a WD bonus case as one of the Best Buy "Black Friday Weekend" deals…
Great deal! Bought one. Used your affiliate link too!
Thanks for that mate. Much appreciated.
bugger… Just bought a 1TB HDD from another deal for $84. If only I'd waited for this one, I would have preferred 2TB. Ah, the problems of being an OzBargainer….
Can't buy from amazon.com as it won't ship to Australia? Anyone worked out how to get around this restriction?
Looks like the cheapest price is now $116.99 US but it's from a store that doesn't ship these globally.
You need to select the amazon.com one under more buying choices.
But it will cost $139.99 US instead + delivery as per OP
Good deal! Picked one up.
I also used the Amazon $5 off offer (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/86924) on it to make it an even better deal! :)
how long before we see these kind of prices on australian stores?
TGG had it for $189 back to a while ago which is not bad if you take into consideration of rent and salary & wages as part of their costs.
Thanks mate. Comes with 2 year warranty valid in Australia
So why is this telling me it can't be shipped to my address? 're sorry.
This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.
Not sure what happened here but the price dropped to $132.99 USD overnight (it was going to be $135.15 AUD shipped with the $5 off $25 Facebook deal). I was all set to order one this morning but the price jumped back to $139.99 USD. Argh!! Guess the hunt for a cheap deal on a WD Passport drive continues. Prefer to buy something like this locally, but at that price it was hard to resist taking the chance.
Well, Amazon have dropped the price again. Now it's $131.31 USD. I just ordered one and with $5 off deal it worked out at $133.48 AUD shipped. Not too bad!
Yeah its cheaper again now. This is crazy.
Price went back down to $132.33.. not as cheap as $131.31, but I'm not going to take any further gambles over $1. The $5 off $25 deal ends in about 24 hours.
I didnt see the $131.31 USD on Amazon.
