  • HAven't heard of this Cherish coffee blend before. Quick search shows it's only ever sold at HN. I suppose if you're after unknown beans of unknown roast dates then this is an average deal.

  • 15 months green beans
    15 days roasted beans
    15 minutes ground beans
    15 seconds brewed beans

I wonder how old these beans are.

  • Professionals do not buy coffee beans from HN. We get them freshly roasted and delivered overnight from Bay Beans & Manna Beans, for not much more money.

    • for not much more money.

2kg for $30? Please show me where I can get freshly roasted beans for even remotely close to that price

  • What is the roast date of these beans? You said freshly roasted. and that usually means within 3 days to me. Do you know?

    • Is your comment directed to me or the OP? Your comment appear as a reply to the deal and not to my comment, but I cannot find any reference to "freshly roasted" in the deal description.

In case you are asking me, then I know for certain that Bay Beans roast theirs after you place an order. I believe Manna Beans follow the same practice. You place an order during the day, they fire up the roasters during the evening, the couriers start delivering the beans from the morning, and you get your beans in the late afternoon (usually but hiccups do happen). Is that fresh enough?

  • My question was directed to loungelizard mate.

    • Need to hit 'Reply' mate. Anyways, to clarify, Manna Beans and BayBeans declare their beans are 'roasted to order'. You can tell by the bags being inflated when they arrive, as freshly roasted beans release co2 after roasting for the next few days. Hence the valved foil bags.

    • My reply was a response to alvian who said you can get freshly roasted beans for almost the same price. Clear as mud now? :) No idea when the HN beans were roasted but chances are they will be a few weeks/months old
