Nokia Lumia 620 8GB White $248 @ HN

200

Hi all, 2nd post!
I've been looking for unlocked wp8 for a while.
HN has recently changed their price on WP8s ($28 decrease for 620, previously $276 ~week and half ago), maybe due to the release of 720 and 520?
but i think the 620 is the best deal among them.
its a great phone even though its only got 512m of ram but it will run smoothly with WP8.
but take a note that some apps require 1G of ram to run.
if you dont like the 4g storage of the HTC 8s deal previously and you are looking for a entry level WP, then this is the choice!

I've check stock, most stores have them in stock.
hope you enjoy it.

Cheers!

  • Great deal for the 620 I guess. But gray import 820s these days are $299 (eg. Kogan).

    • yeah i saw the deal on kogan as well.
it takes 2-3 weeks to ship though.
      and no aus warranty!
i think you may also negotiate the price with HN reps.

  • Here's a good comparison with the 620 vs 8S

    • +7

      …where?

    • i'd prefer 620 way over 8s.
the 8g of storage is enough to dominate…

      • +1

That probably does make it the winner. The 620 also has front facing camera and nfc, but the HTC 8S screen is lcd and it does have a 31% bigger battery.

        • +2

620 is quadband 3G phone while 8S is not.

    • Hahahah, sorry. the link didnt paste I guess.
      Sorry. Iphone…

  • Test this mobile first as the 610 had the smallest font size and it couldnt be adjusted, even after the 7.8 update. Im told win8mobile has the same problem and while the font size scales on the larger screens and is readable on the >4" size and may be unreadable the 3.8" just has an incredibly small font size.

    • WP7 has bigger font size than android and ios..but its true that it cannot be changed.
WP8 can change font sizes, easily.
and please dont call WP8 as win8mobile or win mobile 8!

  • will this phone work on Telstra network?? sometimes, Telstra have their own version to work with their Next-G network

    • ddhtyz mentioned that 620 is quadband so that should include 850MHz. You don't need a special Telstra version.
