Yes. FE stands for Fan Edition. Normally this is a mid year release of the standard phone. FE should generally be made of slightly cheaper parts but recently very similar to the standard phone.
Yes, it's a mid range device. Better than most A series phones but with comprises to make it a non-flagship device.
This FE has the exynos 2400e which is slightly downclocked vs eyxnos 2400. Benchmarks show its about 3% slower.
This is probably the best FE edition phone in the last 3 years vs the other FE editions and for $699 it beats edit: SMASHES any A series phone.
