  • Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    • I think it's getting hammered, I will look into it.

      • When I looked, it had less than 300 clicks from ozb. Is that hammered?

        • +1

When I tried and received errors it was at 2 clicks.

    • +1

    • +1

I tried it within a minute or two of you posting it and wouldn't load the middle bits of the page in firefox. Tried it in chrome and it fully loaded after about 90 seconds.

      • +3

Wow that is slow, might need to consider beefing up the server to handle things like this. Sorry in advanced, keep me posted how you all go

  • Worked for me. Some decent titles.

  • Anyway if you have any further issues please just tell me and I will look into it, the deal will remain of-course

  • +6

What is this "Phone: (+61) 390773333"? A fake number?
If it is a personal home number you should not have used it in the public 'who is'.

I am not here to burn you guys, just trying to have a promotion. If you don't trust the site then don't buy. Those past 2 abn's were inactive ones just so you know, auto canceled. This business is a lot more serious and there is more then just me involved.

      • Site fails to load in IE10. You say you have spent a whole year developing this website. How could you have got something so simple so wrong?

        • -5

You say you have spent a whole year developing this website. How could you have got something so simple so wrong?

Free site on Hostgator? It also fails, most of the time, with FireFox.

        • +4

It's just overloaded, I will take this instance and improve on it. I have defiantly not wasted my time, It's a new site, with a very unique idea, have a look at the homepage video to see what we are about. Just teething issues i need to get sorted out which I will. And yes a lot of the content is from me to help demonstrate the website and what it is about. It's a user generated content website and can be one of the hardest things starting out to get those initial users on board. End of the day we are doing our best and I will deliver the blu rays.

        • +5

I'm sorry to inform you that your problems are far deeper than "just overloading". As stated earlier your site just does not work. Furthermore, it is very poorly written, hence your current issues.

I guess you need to spend another couple of years on it before going into production.

  • +2

    Pointless. Unable to register.

Never got the email, try to request a new one and i just get.

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    • +2

i refreshed about 2 dozen times, and managed to complete a purchase, still…strokes facial hair

  • Sales are coming through on my end

    • +4

      Very helpful of you.

  • +2

    Site is full of errors.

    • Report them please, If it's Internal Server Error, The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. That's due to it been hammered.

      • +3

Pay for some decent hosting then :)
I think it's up to you to figure it all out.

        • To be honest, I underestimated this website and planed to upgrade serves as traffic grew. Didn't foresee this one.

          Lessen learned

        • +1

Do you mean you didn't learn very much, or just that you misspelt 'lesson'?

  • +1

Why not have the stock quantity count down as things are purchased…

    • +3

It should. It is limited stock, some have multiples that will count down and report Sold once they are all gone. Appreciate the feedback everyone, even the harsh.

      • +2

It reports 'Sold' but quantity still reads 1, 2 or 3.

        • +1

That is from the innitial count of stock reported, but good point you raise might look at changing that.

  • +1

Hi after several attempts at trying to get the site to load it finally worked and I made a purchased however after payment the site crashed! I refreshed the site however it takes me back to my cart and shows no reference that I have placed an order? I got a PayPal email telling me I paid you though. Just make sure my order went through.

    • I will check, what was your UN and what did you order?

      • Just sent an email to you!

        Movie purchased was Step Brothers.

        • Hi can you please let me know the outcome?

          Thanks

  • +4

Thanks op was able to snag Shaun of the Dead for $4.
Also Cool website Idea, love the fact that people HAVE to upload a photo to tag so at least you can see what the condition is.

Also you should probably remove the password from the Verification email you send out.

I got a few errors along the way but after a few refreshes it went through fine.

    • +1

Thanks for the constructive feedback. In my opinion the site is perfect for the retail shops, take a photo of your shelf, tag the items. I got the errors as well, will defiantly be working on that one :)

        • +6

Sorry, typo, a lot of posts I had to keep up with. Only human

  • Just scanning thru the 3547 lines of code associated with your opening page. Country code 14 is "Australia". Country code 242 comes after Zimbabwe and is "Agood country's". Where is that located?

    • Hahaha, nice pick up. site was originally Global, but then we decided to change to Australia first for this exact reason.

  • +1

Tried to order Underworld, added to the basket and then proceeded to create an account. I got the verification e-mail, but went I got back (via the computer, not phone), it wasn't in the basket, and the title said "Sold". I'll try again in the morning, but if it's the same, I'll just give up. Hope it's not hard to delete my account.

    • +2

Someone beat you to the checkout I think. Limited stock sorry.
Very easy to delete account. My tags n trades, account settings, delete account.

    • +2

has a sold out tag on it. Suppose someone beat you to it DX.
(edit oh and the rep beat me to the comment too lol)

  • +6

Free OzBargain Server Stress Test (FOSSTâ„¢) lives up to its name and fulfils its purpose :-)

  • +2

Great concept byrneck. Once errors are all fixed, I'll definitely be using this site to sell/buy stuff. You'll be a millionaire in no time

    • +5

Thanks, tonight has been stressful for me, it's nice to get some positive feedback like that :)

      • +6

Just remember the golden rule of startups: genius ideas are a dime a dozen, success is in the execution (fix that broken site!)

  • Byrneck, I made a purchase and paid you but I am just making sure if my order went through. Can you please just let me know? You should have gotten the PayPal email. Thanks.

    • +1

Yeah I got yours, I have your email, I will contact you if there is an issue. Should be fine :)

  • +4

OK, So I need to sleep now, I will be processing these ASAP, if anyone doesn't receive by the end of the week, please contact me at [email protected]

    • Hey Chris, when you have a chance, check your email. Cheers, Pat.

  • Interesting turnkey site.

  • +4

    Why isn't skyfall $4 ;) ?

    • +2

maybe next promo when i get the site right lol :)

  • +2

better check your spelling, on faq section:
"No other classified system in the word currently offers this solution."
    in the worLd maybe?

well… you are lucky people were buying from your site, usually ozb are picky about things like this.

    • Thanks, will fix. In my opinion you guys are lucky picking up blurays delivered to your door for $4

  • +1

Two harry potters left whos gonna get them lol.

  • +3

tried to access site for 30 mins, gave up lol

  • +1

Massive issues loading the site, if it worked would of got Stepbrothers and Eraser

  • +1

The blurays says they're $15 and need to pay for shipping, so many errors.

    • That's not an error, you ventured beyond those 2 links

      • I think it costs more to hire a movie most of the time.

  • +2

Terrible website to go live with. Doesn't even work

    • Just server load issue, will upgrade server plan.

  • +1

on my end kept showing me the loading images, very very slow

  • +2

All I get is a spinning wheel of death. I'm assuming that's what others are getting.

  • +1

Great concept mate. Iron out the bugs and this should do well.

    • Thanks :) Definitely will be doing that.

  • Grats on getting your site live Chris, best of luck from an old schoolmate.

    • Thanks :) Interested to know who.

  • +2

Interesting concept. People will be bidding on air guitars in no time :)

  • +1

A very frustrating site to navigate. (We all know this was an advertising attempt to spread the word, and yes it did have 'limited' bargains also.)

I signed up, placed an advert and was still frustrated. The concept of the site is nice, but definitely needs work.

I had to redo my advert 3 times over as it kept deleting what I originally put, as that 'edit' button isn't very user friendly and deleted all previous entries.

There is also no escaping out, I press the X to close out and it wont let me without saving… I didn't want to save, just exit.

Categories missing, etc. the site definitely needs fine tuning.

*edit, also in the description where I placed/ticked the item as pick-up only, it still states 'FREE' for postage, which is wrong. I just noticed it was only in the initial mouse-over popup, press 'more details' and it states pick-up only, but still… its deceiving.

  • +2

I still reckon it's a turnkey site. Has been posted here to generate some traffic and will be flogged off to the highest bidder in a month or two.

    • We are in it for the long haul, spent over a year in development and if this was a turnkey site you can purchase off the shelf then I wouldn't have thought we would have bugs like we did.

I challenge anyone to find our site as a pre purchased turnkey site.

      • Quite the contrary. Many turnkey sites I've come across are incomplete non-functional rip offs of popular sites, full of bugs, & sold to the naive over the internet.

This site, as much as you don't like to hear it, is far from being ready for public release.

I can't properly try it myself because it doesn't load in Firefox. I've visited it every day since you posted it and nothing has changed, so I won't be wasting my time trying again.

        Best of luck.

  • -1

well my blu ray arrived today, so im upvoting this deal, but this turnkey bidness is still concerning..

  • So much rage. I delivered all Blu-Rays early in the week, they should have arrived by now. If anyone hasn't received please tell me your user name and I will check it up.

PS, We have already moved our service today to a dedicated server and the site is running a lot quicker already, we mean business and have taken every single comment on board.
