Yep..
The Samsung is the bargain.Battery ain't too flash either.
Acer Iconia sucks… i have Iconia A500 but not impressed with the product as well as service support of Acer. My tablet doesn't rotate the screen on its own. I called up Acer they asked for $229 repair cost without diagonising the actual fault.
Stay away from Acer.
Interestingly I am actually quite happy with my Iconia Tab A500. It's bulky and felt solid built. Moreover there's an active community on TegraOwners.com that keep on producing ROM for it. I am now running CM10 / Android 4.1.2 on it & overclocked to 1.2GHz.
I have a an A501 that has never missed a beat and works perfectly.
I don't think you can say "Acer Iconia sucks", even though you had a bad experience.
512MB RAM is not enough for smooth user experience.
512 ram. Passsssss.
