      Very true, though I think the united states consider HDSPA+ to be 4G.
      So you are right, there is no real standardization globally of what 4G actually is or is not.

    1. The iPhone 4/4S devices are NOT 4G
    2. I doubt this doubles the battery life
    3. iPhone 4S has 4-7 hours talk time without this attachment
    4. There is nothing slim about this thing

      from my experience with something like this, it will charge around 70-80 percent of your 4s.
      I found it pretty useful. it makes your phone feeks like nokia e90 communicator though.

    A colleague has a similar one.
    It makes the phone seem a lot bigger, even though it is reasonably "slim".
    It uses a mini USB to charge, you need to remove the case to sync.
