        Yeh im pretty sure yesterday i went hoyts they ask me to join for $7.50 with free credit for 1free tiket..normal price $7.50

        And all popcorn n coke from small to large were same price $15.90!! Such a ripp but had to buy anyway!

          I think they're doing a 25% off promo right now; I vaguely recall getting an email from Hoyts last week to this effect (but it mentioned having to sign up/renew at a cinema).

    Hm, when I logged in to renew my membership, it charged me $7 (without any promo code). Anyway, thanks for the reminder to renew!

    Say if I were to buy $10 ticket vouchers from Optus Rewards, then went a claim them for actually tickets, would I still be able to earn points?

      You get 125 pts when you redeem an Optus ticket.

    Don't forget this voucher expires 6 months from the date you bought your membership not from the date you activate it. I just got 1 expired coz I thought it doesn't expire until you activate it on Hoyts website :(

    I saw on their website, they have "Student membership". How is "Student membership" different from normal member?

    Sorry, I'm new to this. The membership duration is 1yr. Do we get a free ticket for next time membership renewal?

    With membership card, we can always buy ticket at $10?

      Yes renewal gives free 1xticket as well…

      No tiket is not always $10, its just to accumulate points to redeem on other stuff and special advance screening and offers..VIP

      Renewal gives you 2 free tickets. I got 2 tickets last year when I renew as a student. Renewal cost 10$.

    Promo code worked for me today - (showed $10 without, $7.50 after applying) - so offer hasn't expired yet.

    This shouldn't be marked as expired. I had a free ticket so I went to hoyts to use it, but it was apparently for village, so I ended up picking up one of these (thankyou chadiwrx)

    It has to be activated online before it can be used. If you don't have a smartphone on you, you can sometimes get away with using the computers at a dicksmith or hn. Thats what I did.
