where did you see $90? For me it shows $A209 to upgrade to HD 7970M!
Yeah..don't see 7970m at $90 extra…wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger if the upgrade is just $90 extra..
Metabox have a good following on whirlpool and you wouldn't get an Asus with these specs for twice the price. They use quality components and are Australian built. No brqiner for me.
I've an older Metabox Laptop (150HM, from Affordable Laptops) and I'm happy with the quality. I've an issue with a GPU fan, and it took a little while to work out an issue with USB 3.0 (just needed the correct drivers). Otherwise, it's solid, reliable, and still looks and behaves just like new. If I needed another high performance laptop, I would 100% get another Metabox.
However, it certainly doesn't look slick, nor is it slim (personally I like the basic look).

Darn, just brought the Asus N56VZ GT650m for $1300 two days ago.
This with HD7970m ($400 extra) would have been great :(
