    • It's obvious that both their marketing and PR teams suck!!

They've turned potential snowgum customers into snow-grumps

  • +1

Sounds like snowscum. The service online is just as piss poor as their instore service. Any excuse to not honor their promo. Their dog ate my order ….. bla bla bla . Everything was way overpriced anyway.

    • +1

Is that what they told you … they told me the boogie man took my order after threatening to haunt everyone's dreams @ snowscum if they refused to give it to him

  • just notice my money was refunded so came here to check what's happened.
that crap company. anyway, help me not waste my $7.5 on useless crap

you can voice your disappointment at snowgum's poor customer service at http://www.productreview.com.au/p/snowgum.html :)

    • +3

and for every approved review, they donate 50c to the Red Cross.

  • Transaction went through on my credit card….then it was reversed a few days later…so looks like I wont be getting my order :-(

  • +1

Oh well….guess I didn't really need that drink bottle anyway..

  • +2

    My order was cancelled too.

Snowgum - if you provide a voucher, and you provide a code and a pin to use it online, and then you provide instructions on how to place your order online, how are people supposed to know that it 'cannot be used online'? If you didn't want it to be available online then the voucher should have stated 'in store only' and not provided those details.

I buy a lot of camping and outdoors equipment and you've lost a customer in me. Very disappointed.

Another one here- used the voucher and was charged for the excess over the $20, the excess just got returned.
Way to do a promo, Snowgum.

  • My order says :

    4 March 2013 AUD$16.00 Payment Accepted

Whens will my order be delivered?

    • That's like asking if Snowscum will ever have good customer service…

      Answer: NEVER!! lol

I had to log in to find out my order was "Cancelled".

They didn't even email me… not impressed!

    • why dont you -ve instead of +ve?

    • To avoid this happening to other customers - now they have deleted my entire account, so I can't even log in and check the status of my order - which I have now found out was cancelled (along with my "loyalty" account.

just realised that my order was cancelled too - unbeknown to me. additionally, i have not been refunded the amount. Will be letting the ACCC know about this. The transaction occurred two weeks ago.

  • They told me last week, only after I emailed them, that my order was going out. Where the hell is it, snowgum? You are a crap company.

  • Got an email the other day, saying the item that I ordered (which was on clearance) was sold out and offered me a replacement at no extra cost. Will see when it arrives.

    • Got my hidden pocket today. I only placed 1 order and that was during the first $20 voucher post.

  • Crap company, cancelled my order. Wish I can take back the +ve..

    • +1

you can revoke your +ve….go up to the top and under the title where it says "votes", click on it and you'll see your vote up the top.

My order was cancelled, however I did not receive an email telling me that it had been cancelled, I had to log in to their website and check it manually like a Neanderthal.
I doubt I'll be buying anything from Snowgum ever again.

My order got cancelled. No email received.

    • If you subscribed to their loyalty program - they have probably also taken the liberty of cancelling your membership also - as an Ozbargainer you are scum and not worthy of being a loyal customer to their business. (refer my post below)

  • Order cancelled. :(

This Snowgum business is a weird company, after a month of waitng for my order I send an email asking where my items are and I get a turse response telling me that:

    1) My order was cancelled
    2) My voucher code cannot be accpeted
    3) Ozbargainers are not welcome (given the terms of the offer were not display on Ozbargain when the offer was posted on Ozbargain).

I am pretty angry that they simply cancelled my order with no notification AND removed me from their "loyalty" program entirely. Then when I make an enquiry I am basically told to get lost !

  • +1

    same here.
a month and half after the order confirmation email, i email them.
    they said(not exact words):
    YOUR ORDER IS CANCELLED.
    YOUR ACCOUNT IS DELETED.
YOU AS A OZBARGAINER IS NOT WELCOME.

    no business…^#$%&**)*)_!%@^$#
    Let's ozbargainers close them down!!!

  • i'm quite surprised that in the current retail environment, a company could risk angering so many current and potential customers. unless they're doing so well that they can afford to do this..?

  • just received a $10 rebate voucher based upon my past year's (free) purchases - with the offer of a free beanie if i redeem before the end of this month :)
