    I would expect some great deals on ps3 in coming months, but this is the best for local stock right now. 12 gb hdd seems pretty useless to me too

      12gb is useless, for example you buy Bioshock (http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/92361) that's a 14gb download. Now take into account to download a game, typically you need about twice the amount of space free ie 28gb.

      Even some disc based games take heaps of space eg Rage requires 8GB of space.

          I stand corrected! When I first read the ad, it sounded like GT5 had to be purchased at full price, eg $219 + $40 making it the same price as Target, less Driver. "Must be purchased in the same transaction" is a very strange thing to include in the bundle description.

    Price matched at JB HiFi. They also carry the hdd bracket for $12. Found a 500gb hdd floating around. Bam! $231 for a 500gb PS3. Thanks bigosmallo!
