    $169 + $60 doesnt equal $199 ;)

Yeah, it's actually $139 Perth to Bali, not $169. :) Good deal for those who enjoy Bali.

  • OP needs to correct Perth -> Bali to $139 (which is whats on the site)

      Doh… fixed, thanks.

Bali to Perth for $60 on only one day over that whole period and the flights out within 5 -7 days are all more than $139.
    Rubbish.

    • -1

yea you are correct. What a joke lol!

    • Some people are hard to please.

I just checked the site and there are lots of flights from
      Perth to Bali for $139
However, return dates for $60 are on the 24th April 5th, 9th June.
      Total return = $199
Just pick your return date and you should be fine

      • i searched it before posting earlier, but i just searched it again, 5th and 9th June prices are both $181. the 24th April is confirm $60.

        • Looks like the 5th and 9th June $60 deals are sold out. Bargains go quick when OS flights are up for grabs. Ive been traveling on these kind of deals since 2009 and i have to say that yes, sometimes delays happen but it beats the hell out of paying 4 or 5 times the normal cost sometimes.
Also, my above comment was not a reply to you but to the poster above you.
          Cheers

"Even cheaper if you use Jetstar's price beat guarantee!", do I just called them up, how easy is it to get jetstar to price beat?

    • +6

Simple. You find the exact flights you want on the AirAsia website, call up Jetstar customer service and say you want to do a pricebeat. They'll go to the AirAsia website and verify the pricing that you've told them AirAsia can offer then take your payment details etc over the phone.

The way it works is that for international flights it just has to be on the same DAY. Which is great, because AirAsia flies in and out of Perth at stupid times like 4:50 and 12:30am whereas Jetstar flies out of Perth at 10am and back in at 6:50pm for example. You just tell Jetstar, AirAsia is flying out of Perth at 4:50am for $99 and I want to fly with you at 10am for the same price, and they say "uh, okay sir"

Domestic flights I believe have to be within 2 hours departure of the airline you would like to pricebeat.

Note that it's a lot cheaper to add the checked baggage WHEN you book the tickets over the phone, it can be added later but it costs more.

Spoken like a true bargain hunter. Hats off to you my friend. Its nice to read some positive comments for a change rather than all the whingers, not just for this deal but across the whole Oz Bargain website.
        Cheers mate.

Thank you for the reply with the details! really appreciate it!

      • you need to check the jetstar conditions,
i tried to use this earlier this year to get to bali and back, they wouldn't except the comparable air asia flight on the return leg as it was more than 2 hours difference between jetstars flight and air asias flight.
also note they book one leg of the journey at a time and make you pay for it before you book the return leg, so if you cant get the deal on the return leg after you have paid for the trip over it gets very expensive.
also note if you try to use this with jetstar for a return flight from bali after booking the flight over with air asia, they make you pay in rupiah and the exchange rate to Aussi dollars in not close to fair.

        • I've done exactly that and had no problems with the exchange rate. If you were a true bargain hunter you'd already have a Citibank Plus transaction account or a 28 Degrees Mastercard which doesn't incur any bank transaction fees for foreign currency.

I have booked a Jetstar flight whilst I was in Bali… called them for free on Skype (their Skype name is on the website) from my 3G mobile because I'm stingy and paid for a flight back to Perth in IDR.

No problems, no rip off, very happy.

Not worth the hassle to fly jetstar, which often delay or cancel flights. A lot of my friends have been burnt before with jetstar.

      • +1

and you think it is better with airasia?? lol

      • +3

I flew Jetstar last month to Bali, no cancellations or delays …

    Yay less bogans

  • Looks like the only return $60 cheap flight left is on the 24th April.
    Gotta get in quick.

  • Just wanted to say thank you! Booked with Jetstar using their price beat and saved over $1100! Total with 25kg each baggage came to $706 for 2 adults return (PER - BALI). If I had booked the exact same through Jetstar without the price beat deal it would have been $1824. THANKS!!!
