3G only
Probably not Australian stock.
By the way, why is Australian stock good?

and it'll probably come with a charger that doesn't require an adapter….
Because it has Australian warranty
That. I think GS3 was 2 years of Australian Warranty, not sure about note 2.
thousands of kilometers away?
Called postage :)
Postage isnt the problem. Most of these grey import businesses employ their own warranty firm, they will argue day and night that any fault found on the phone was caused by mistreatment and isnt covered by a warranty. Better be prepared for a long complaint to the dept. of fair trading.
Drop shipped from HK.
Does price include postage?
Seems like 40 ish dollars postage
Total = $591.4 shipped to Melbourne
Compare to recent offer of a 10.1" tablet + mobile
for ~ $549 + $19 S+H (an unlocked N8000)
Buying this from HK would be a bit depressing, as S4 will be announced by time you get it :p and nearly same size, but much better
Aussie stock understands our accent better
sarcasm ?
if not… FYI Most (if not all) OS/APP let user to customise language/voice through installing some extension/plugin.
We -all- need to learn to communicate -globally-…
There is an advantage in non-Australian stock that relates to the customization of the rom. The Telstra variant (for example) is the N7105 (I think) which does not use the same methods for rooting and custom rom-ing as the global version. This is off the top of my head and based on rumor, so take it with a grain of salt.
The N7105 is the 4G version of this phone. Pretty sure its not specific to Telstra.
Modem & GPS settings. Anyway, for a $200 price difference I'd go for HK stock.
I think Samsung was offering a $199 cashback for AU stockAny chance to get a non Telstra $%CKED ROM should be jumped at.
They really do know how to ruin the TW experiance even further.Telstra ROM has the following:
1). Boot Logo
2). Telstra One app
3). Modem firmwareSo not really $%CKED… if you want $%CKED get the Optus one. My colleague at work has it and there are multitude (from my count there was 5) of Optus branded apps and their boot logo as well.
Got the Telstra one and so far so good… haven't tried rooting or custom firmware until my ELF period is up. So far from my reading and research can just root it as easily and custom firmware easily as well. Only thing you need to look for is the modem firmware because the Telstra one is modified to suit its network (dropped 800MHz support) and (no proof but forum comments only so cannot verify independently) boosted 850MHz network selection for its 3G.
Because it has Australian warranty and not thousands of kilometers away?
