Brembo Brake Discs & Pads - Cheaper Than Aftermarket Parts in Aus

30

Came across a UK site that sells Brembo brake discs and pads at bargain prices. Shipping seems to be £30(!) whether you order one set of brake discs or two (for front & rears). Shopping at other UK sites you could pay up to £200 for shipping of 4 brake discs.

Not sure of part nos? Check here http://bremboaftermarket.com/En/Car_Disc_Catalogue/Catalogue…

Nobody cares about the Pads or Discs!

they want the Red Calipers!! get it??

    • You don't buy new calipers, you just upgrade the ones you have. Mighty Car Mods FTW http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o3mhq_BrnU0

        • LOL what? A loose cover sitting on your calipers sounds like a accident waiting to happen!

        • i think you have to glue it(silicone) and it's made of plastic! I know it sounds stupid but there is lots of people buying this stuff :)

I know it sounds stupid but there is lots of people buying this rice :)

          I fixed this for you.

        • Easily add $5-$10 to my '89 Ford Festiva! - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/6/60/1st_Ford_…

        • There have been a lot of horror stories of those things falling off because the glue was not strong enough and damaging the rotors and rims… So I would probably stay away and just paint your calipers red and use a Brembo stencil, much safer option.

    • LOL I remember in Malaysia you could get some cheap plastic Brembo caliper covers. Red or Yellow your choice to cover up those dodgy discs or drums.

i found these guys are pretty cheap.
    http://brakesdirect.com.au/aus/

Shipping for two rotors to Melbourne from QLD was $15.
i was quoted $229 from Autobarn, which i got from these guys for $95 for DBA slotted.

you got a pair of DBA slotted for $95? or was that each

      • sorry for the late response.
It was $95 each. or $229 each from autobarn.

    • Who was the idiot moron who said "Let's have an annoying webclip on our website that will drive people to CLOSE IT instead of browsing - and just for funsies, lets put the stop button at the very bottom of the page!"

  • Im Glad they don't have the drilled rotors there. Those things are cr*p for everyday use

  • This is ok I guess if you were set on buying brembo discs.
But it should be pointed out that nobody really here uses those because you can get DBA or RDA ones here much cheaper that are arguably better. If you look on ebay or via brakes direct/gslrallysport you could probably find a set of slotted RDA discs for way less than standard discs from this site. With enough left over to buy all new pads too. The Australian brands when it comes to brakes are actually world class and much cheaper here. It's actually a really good opportunity to buy local because there isn't much else we make well here if we're honest.

    • RDA import the majority of their products I think you will find. DBA only make their higher end rotors here too…..

      • When i worked at autobarn years ago (10years), RDA sourced some of their rotors from Brembo.
