Rocket/Bullet Blender $14 and Deep Fryer $14 (Save $10- $14) @Woolies

160

Found these at the new Woollies in "Polaris" Bundoora, Victoria. I would assume most stores should have them. Been looking at these for a while but not willing to pay the $100+ for the name brand.

$14 seemed cheap enough to give it a go. Comes with multiple blades a small cup and 5 large cups. I have tried to show this in the picture.

Similar el-cheapo blenders are selling for $30 at other stoers so looks like a bargain.

The fryer is 2.5 liters, stainless steel and red in colour. I did not purchase one of these but thought I was worth a mention. 14 bucks sounds cheap for a deep fryer. http://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/53368/15369/image.jpg

Does anyone have a way to check stock via Woolworths onlines site?

    • Possibly the same as this. But a different brand…. http://www.homeart.com.au/3296.html

      • TBH I think its one of them universal China models which allows other companies to slap a brand on it

I've got a bullet blender. It's good. Makes easy work of fruit and veg into smoothies (with a bit of water added).
It comes with 2x plastic cups (1 lge + 1 sml). I don't think I've ever used the small one - might be good for nuts or something.

  • What is a "fryer"? Is it a piece of electrical equipment or a fry pan?

  • Positive vote for the bullet blender.

  • going by the pic it may be a rice cooker where instead you add oil. mask up to get the lid off that one!

    • going by the words on the box - it IS a rice cooker!! Clearly the OP did not intend to show both items in this photo. If they had then they would both be in the photo.

      • Yep, also a rice cooker for $14, save $4. There were also toasters and stick hand blenders.

  • How much is the capacity of this blender? It says 350ml or 600ml which bother would be too small for me given my protein shakes sometimes get up to 1l+
