    For most people, these are next to useless. And a considerable effort to sign up and activate.
    You want the "$30" starter pack, which frequently sells for $10 to $15, and buys a decent amount of calls and data for a month.

      I can think of a use for these. If you're expecting visitors from overseas who will be around for a week or two this might be useful.

        You could just get a $2 SIM. It allows incoming, and almost as many outgoing minutes. No facebook whoring required.

          Today:
          A lady walks in the store, buys a phone and a sim card, gets me to activate it for her then calls someone who doesnt answers and walks out. Later runs back in to the shop with phone ringing and wants me to answer her phone.Why? Cause someone's calling her and the phone displays "unknown"!

        Scissors? Yeah. I can cut micro down to nano but normal sim down to nano is a bit risky, cutter or not.

        I just activated one of these cards and I haven't received any credit at all. It's $0.0.
        I chose simplicity offer when asked by customer service rep from Telstra and I ported Vodafone number.
        Any thoughts?

          Are you checking the right credit balance? Because you only get 'Bonus Cap' credit with this SIM card.

          Compared to the $10 (normally $30) Telstra SIMs you get from woolies/coles which give you $250 + 400MB + $30 (which can be spent on google play apps).
