    Very negative reviews online for this for this "camera" and sounds like $7 is probably about what it should be.

    FYI - those who want to encourage photography in their children can check out the fisher price camera or for something a little more capable check out Nikon.

    They do a good shockproof, waterproof camera intended for family use in it's Coolpix range. Better off grabbing something like that, but I admit it will never be $7!

      I just purchased an LX7 and my 4yo has inherited my old LX3… :)

      Instead of forking out for a toy camera, just give them a pre-loved one that's no longer being used…

    Great gift for kids if a parent wishes to upload/save or print shocking quality images of out of focus crap found around the house. e.g 120 snaps of the dogs poo which is what the quality of the images on these things is like.
