Are they inkjet printable ?
Also, is it QLD only ?
Inkjet printable = Yes
I wish I knew about this last week. Very cheap.
Is this the same as this the Product Code VBDVP50WIJ for the DVD+R and VBCDM50IJ for the CD-R at Officeworks?
Maybe we can price match them hehe
Great tip, thanks. Will try to buy a couple of spindles today.
I bought some of these about 2 weeks ago now from Harvey Norman Midland so it's not exactly a new deal.
I bought these last week from DSE for $28!!
HN had a better deal 2months ago, verbatim spindle dvd-r for 10$
Had to be early to get it though, got like 20 packs :D
lol 20 packs?
1000 dvds?
lol u pirate!
Hopefully HN QV Melb has these.
Can you report back please?
yep, went there today and they still got heaps.
Batch# is 95037 if that helps.
I wish some merchant would sell Lightscribe DVDs cheaper. ATM they're quite expensive at around $0.8/disc even at MSY. (30 pack Verbatim)
Just got back, HN Auburn has PLENTY more left
Price match with officework chadstone.
Painless :)Bought 2.
does DSE do price match as well as I have staff discount there. so price match + staff discount :)
Good deal, and remember +R fared much better in burning tests in the past. But as far as 95037 discs go, eh, I got a few spindles a year ago or so and they are not printable. The biggest problem was that the surface is very hard to write on. It's like the CD pen doesn't stick to it, but rather it spills/dissolves over it a bit and you have to redo each line of each letter a few times. This got quite annoying and I remember that number well, won't be buying it again for that reason…
great price but I don't like the ugly large ring in the middle of verbatim disks. Looks ugly when printed.
Verbatim do have Wide Inkjet discs, but as I said above the model mentioned here is not printable (non-white surface)
Brisbane CBD don't seem to have any Verbatim but they are selling 50xLG for $15.
There's heaps at Carindale.
simply go to Officeworks and price matches it. Get the printable one if you can as I recall they are more durable than non-printable one.
EDIT: I bought 4 of these printable one
does anyone know whats the difference with the one in yellow package?
I went to HN and saw that there was no such dvds on the shelves and went to ask if they can sell the orange/blue ones for that price. The nice salesman went to ask the manager and got an OK. Problem solved.
i went to HN at Martin Pl. in sydney, could not find the DVDs either, fufufu, hope u went to the Martin Pl. store:-)
Went to the HN @ Martin Pl again, they have it… all good.
This may seem petty, but I'm still going to have a whinge.
Harvey Norman Nunawading have these marked at $16.01
My guess is that this is done intentionally to charge those that pay by card that little extra.
I bought two and was charged exactly the extra $0.02
It is nothing, but its the principle of the matter I care about and its definitely a dodgy business practice.I've had many MANY issues with them in the past with price matching and certain prices advertised in the catalogue but where marked differently in the store. I've tried avoiding them but other HNs are a little far (except Knox but parking there is a bitch), so I'd suggest steer clear of Nunawading.
oh my friggin god. bought 2 packs a few weeks back, and just realised now, that they are not inkjet printable. the packaging is almost identical to the printable ones, so i thought it was the printable kind. but sitting at my table now, i can see the differences between the printable and non-printable packaging. damn.
cheap!
2 packets of these would cost 32 compared to msy's price of 38!
