Is the Olive Oil Australian ?

If it's imported, I can get all this stuff cheaper at our local continental deli…

Sellers normal prices as demonstrated in jv's post.
Olive Oil is expensive for cheap imported olive oil, cheaper at most supermarkets, specialty stores and deli's etc.
Likewise Olives can be had cheap many places.
Also not clearly stating where the products are from.
    And finally, SPAM!

Being an olive farmer if it's $3 for 500 ml then it's def import and the quality is bad. Been to Italy and seen how they extract oil. Iv even seen them put magets from rotting olives in to be pressed. Not bad if u don't mind protein in ur oil. If u buy cheap olive oil ur better off using canola. Also cheap regular supermarket olives like this have been matured using carstic soda which neutralises anti oxidants so unless they are stuffed with cheese then ur not getting anything out of them. … If anyone was interested. I won't list my home grown brand cause I'm not here to hock it off cheap.

    Hi ZRXS12 / HX925,

It seems rather unfair to deem the quality of the product as bad given that you haven't tried it before. The product is imported from Lebanon and is actually priced much lower than shops that are currently carrying this same stock.

What "quality" is there. There's yet to be a decent review by a respectable person who checks to make sure this Lebanon product is up to standard.

  • Never listed that the website only ships to Sydney. Again. SpAM

Green Hill Extra Virgin Olive Oil doesn't have the AOA.

    http://aldi.com.au/au/html/product_range/23367.htm

Be careful what olive oil you buy people, as many aren't what even close to what it says. As much as I hate A Current Affair and Today Tonight, they do have their moments when they get some facts out there to the rest of us.

I'd neg this deal and this rep, though I must keep on waiting my 30 days out.
