        • he isn't on the list ??

        • +1

Its a comedy festival of course he isn't on the list

  • +2

Somehow these comedy festivals barely raise a smile nowadays, as fart-joke style humour seems to be the rage again.

Oh, and Indians etc who get away with shocking racist jokes because its OK to appear to be in a minority group and talk trash on other races/religions. Try those jokes if you are a WASP and look out for trouble.

At least Steady Eddie won't be making it this year.

Are you talking about Aamer Rahman? Love him. Buying tickets to him now.

      • -3

Thanks for making to point clearer - people love a foreign guy making racist jokes.

If any white guy got up and told those jokes they would be heckled off stage, called a racist and probably prosecuted by the screaming mary's.

You haven't seen any of jimmy carr's stuff have you? Lighten up

        • -1

Why, is Jimmy on THIS list of comedians?

        • +1

No but I think the point was its a white guy making those, if not more insensitive jokes on stage and people pay to see him / don't call him a racist etc. Hell he has his own tv show in the UK if I remember correctly.

    • as an indian I full agree.

  • Got tickets to Arj, thanks OP!

Got tickets to Arj Barker's Go Time…

  • Got 2 tix to Nina Conti. Thanks!

  • I fly to the Gold Coast at 6:30AM Friday morning but I couldn't resist Arj Barker for $20 Thursday night!! Can't wait =)

  • LoL! This thread is funnier than any jokes on the night. Cheap ass humour.

  • Arj barker: clean non-aggressive comedic fun

  • Saw Paul Foot last year….highly recommended! Be warned though, its not your typical stand up comedy!

    • He's the Rik Mayall of the 2000's

  • Missed Rich Hall, but got Arj Barker and others. Thanks OP!

  • must be expired now …
    got me vote though :)

  • Is there a special festival for racist and off colour humour.

I'd be interested in that ;-)

    • +1

It's not really racist, but if you go onto YouTube and search Gabriel Iglesias racist gift basket you will get 8m of comedy gold
