These are OK for camping, but don't be afraid to try making real pancakes at home. They taste better with a bit of pride and satisfaction.
Its so easy an 8-year-old can do it. Even if you are the sort of person who needs a recipe book to make instant coffee.http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/13864/basic+pancakes+with+le…
All you need is -
1 cup self raising flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
http://www.bestrecipes.com.au/recipe/basic-pancakes-L614.htm…Homemade is cheaper.
1 cup milk
1 cup plain flour
1 egg
Serves two.
Sometimes I add oil or sugar to taste. As above; you should use self raising flour - makes them lighter.
Unless you're the type of person who likes them thin and stodgy. No offence meant.
Or throw in a teaspoon or so of baking powder per cup of flour. As an aside, when I can be bothered, I also whip the egg whites separately into peaks, then fold them into the mixture to make extra fluffy/thick pancakes…..
Also .99c at Drakes Foodland, SA.
Sold out when i went looking for them at Coles as well
Same at Coles…..but all sold out when I went on Sunday last
