On page 44 of the current Harvey Norman catalogue, the Microsoft 3000 Wireless Mouse (Slate colour, model MST8480/BX3-00023) is on sale for $24 (from sticker price of $49.95) at Harvey Norman. Claim the $15 cashback from Microsoft and it ends up costing $9.
It does state "limit 1 per customer", however, I was at Harvey Norman in Auburn and purchased 2 of them in one transaction and the sales person didn't say anything (don't think they know about the limit).
At the Auburn store, there are a lot of the Slate colour mouse on the shelves so not likely to run out (catalogue sale ends on Sunday). The "sale" price isn't marked or advertised on the shelf, but when you go to pay, it will scan at the sale price. There are some other colours available but I don't know if they will scan at the same price (forgot to check when I was there). Note - it even comes with one AA Energiser battery included in the package!
In the catalogue, there is also the Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse V2 (black or white) on sale for $8 (from $19.95 sticker price) and with $5 cashback from Microsoft, comes to $3. Auburn had both the black and white ones available and they did advertise the special instore.
The other special in the catalogue worth mentioning is the Microsoft Optical 1000 Wireless Keyboard & Mouse bundle for $38 (RRP $69.95) and with $20 cashback, ends up being $18. However, there was none available on the shelves at Auburn.
I thought this deal was posted before?
Anyway there were plenty of Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 and a basket full of Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 Slate at the Broadway shop 2 days ago. I have already checked, the discount only applies to the slate ones and not the other colors.
And Officeworks have just reduced the price of the Microsoft Lifecam VX-700 to $22.46, so its $7.46 after cashback which is better than the Lifecam VX-500 deal from both Harvey Norman and BigW! There were some stocks left at the North Sydney Officeworks yesterday.
