personally, i would pay the extra $120 or 6.4% to buy from a retail store. Its also on apple's online store for $1899 as a referb.
Wow, that's even cheaper. i must confess i didn't really do any research, as I wouldn't purchase this laptop.
I just saw this myer when i was looking at the macbooks and remembered how much they cost now and thought i would try to give back to OzBargain, a website community that has given so many bargains to me.

Anyhow, it always helps to check Shopbot and staticICE before submitting computer and electronics deals (if you don't someone else will!). Although you can't always rely on the search results list alone as sometimes the cheapest prices are conditional (e.g. part of a bundle), have been revised or so on, so it is a good idea to click through a couple.
Harris Technology appears to have 8 units for pickup from only three locations: Fortitude Valley QLD (3), North Ryde NSW (1 + 1 demo) and Osborne Park WA (2 + 1 demo). No luck for Victorians but HT does have 8 units for delivery.

Certainly, thanks for thinking of OzBargain and sharing. Cheaper elsewhere (than Myer) in this case, but there's no need to worry that it's not the absolute best deal.
I walked past NextByte on Erskine/Clarence St, Sydney. They had a sign showing $600 off Macbook air - old model (1.6/80)
