I have to say that Lenovo CES performance has NOT been exciting for business users. I was looking forward to the prototype of new T or X series. Instead we are getting ThinkPad Helix, which while cool, I can't see myself doing heavy work on it for 10 hours a day. The new E431/E531 also demonstrated the new "5 button clickpad" that will probably be used in all future ThinkPads. That basically removes the 3 dedicated buttons for the TrackPoint, and integrates everything into one single big touchpad. I guess it's good for those looking for MacBook-like huge touchpads, but for die-hard TrackPoint users it's really a bad move. We'll see.
I'm also meeting up with some Lenovo guys today to see whether they can bring OzBargain some exclusive deals this year. I'll also be asking about the support situation in Australia, which seems to be one major concern on these Lenovo deals. Wish me luck.
UPDATE: New coupon code, as the one given to me from Lenovo wasn't working.

Not valid with ThinkPad Tablet and ThinkPad X1 Carbon Touch ↩
they would have to be some pretty darn good deals for us to consider them, taking into account the type of deep discounts we are accustomed to. That being said if they do pull through, expect to see huge volumes for Lenovo
also coupon not valid for the carbon touch or thinkpad tablet 2
