    My friend works at big w at Big W in Whitford City PERTH and he confirms that those prices are correct… if they are closed on that day.. the sales start on saturday.

    The full list is massive.
    It looks like Big W have put up every non new release game and accessory up for sale.
    The prices seem no different then what I was paying at D1ck Smith during June Financial Year clearances (Superman Returns 360 for $10.)

    The $2 VIP pack seems strange as it includes a wireless controller worth over $50 alone.
    There might be a handful of Big W's in the country that have 1 of these in stock, or the computer says they have 1 in stock.
    Most stores wouldn't have seen the VIP Packs in years.

    What is BIGW's layby policy? I had a look online and it is not very informative.

    Would it be possible to go in today, layby the games at the current price, then wait until Boxing Day or the day after and get them off layby at the reduced price?

    biggest SCAM EVA FROM BIG-W Wasted 4 hours of my life LOL!

    Normally i wouldn't give neg votes but this time big w has crossed the line!!!

    I went to 2 stores, Campsie and Auburn, both did not have 1 single title that was on the list for less than $20

    I asked if the titles will be restocked for the boxing day sale and the saff said no!

    My guess is that someone (prob staff that work there) did a lay by on every game that's going to be on sale >< as there was practically NOTHING on the shelves.

    DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME PEOPLE!

    Your chances of getting a $2 or $10 game is good as getting that $199 wii from Catch of the Day Birthday scam lol!

    I think the problem here is that it is NOT a sale, it looks more like a clearence list. Everything in the system that the Buyers/CatMans want to get rid of, it would be an auto generated listed based on age of titles/sell through statistics. Most of the titles there would be only 1 or 2 Australia wide.

    This is why these lists arn't for the publics eyes.

    I've just been to the Fountain Gate Big W, no stock. They called Karingal, and Southland, no stock. Endeavour Hills, no stock. Waverley Gardens, no stock. Thanks for the bargain post anyway.

    The prices are not reflected in their online website anyway. They're really not making this easy, are they?

    Maybe if someone could find a store with stock, they could get it for us? I'll pay for shipping :)

    Good. Knew it was too good to be true. I read on all these other forums people saying 'OMG I can't wait I'm gonna get bla bla, bla bla, bla bla, bla bla AND bla bla all for less than $100 hehehe'. Really had to be a fool to have believed they'd be selling em for these prices.

    If this were really a 'Big W Boxing Day Sale' then hec they would have advertised it in the catalogues. This list just came from some site which isn't reliable in any way yet everyone went nuts.

    I had a look at the Big W near my place (was there to buy some other stuff anyway). They had only the $30/$50 items. They had some of the games listed at the store, but they were at normal prices.

    Yep, no $2 titles at my Big W (Northern NSW) either and no XBOX accessories even close to the prices in the list. In fact, the have had better sales during the year in regards to video games.

        it's not fake and it's true.
        i spent my sleeping time to go to bigw in outer suburb just to find $2 game.
        i was happy to find the bargain, although it's only one item, in the end it might not worth for the time spent, however it's priceless just for my satisfaction.

        at the same day, i also checked highpoint, nothing left.
