Something interesting, I learnt from Windows Phone 8: Already Time to Worry? is that "Bloomberg reported that HTC was halting work on a large-screen Windows 8 mobile phone because Microsoft’s operating system lacked support for high-resolution displays (it’s limited to 720p, or 720 horizontal lines)".
Considering the pitiful market share of 1.05% of Windows Phone and it's vital importance to Microsoft / Nokia, I would wait if you can at all. I would expect some steep discounting as Microsoft attempts to gain market share.
Agree with all that this isn't a deal it postage is $78. If it was free postage, then that would be another story.
Hmm, the LG P880 http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/89083 is significantly cheaper than this today. It is also quad core, but does not claim 4G. ICS instead of Windows 8. Seems like the LG P880 would be better if you don't need the 4G.
Updated to show that there is also a free gift
