Gaming PC: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX 5080, B650M Wi-Fi Mobo, 32GB 6000MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, 850W Gold PSU $3299 + Delivery @ TechFast

7800X3D-5080-MAR

Overwhelming demand, lack of availability, and very real price increases that have hit and will be more to come…but we got you.

We have done our absolute best to peel off another banging RTX 5080 deal at the same price point as our launch deal. We have brought in the 7800X3D which is far more available than the 9800X3D and the only realistic option with the GPU prices going upwards. The rest of the spec remains unchanged.

Delivery on these is from late March, the same batch as the Pre-order cards from the previous deal. Prices will absolutely go up again next deal, probably $200+ in line with the card pricing.

All TechFast PCs are:

  • Unmatched in terms of value, $ per frame, bang for buck - you name it, it does not get cheaper
  • Fully professionally built, stress tested
  • Provided by the most active and committed OzB PC builder for 6+ years - we are here to stay while many others have come and gone, leaving Ozbargainers in the lurch
  • Plug and play with all drivers installed, no matter which OS you select
  • Fully supported by a local team via email and here on Ozbargain
  • Fully insured for transit at no extra cost
  • Fully warranted with transit covered both ways in the event of warrantable faults

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 5080 16GB Gaming PC: $3299 after 7800X3D-5080-MAR

  • AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor with 240mm liquid cooler (~200W AG400 option available for -$50)
  • Palit GamingPro RTX 5080 16GB graphics card
  • Gigabyte B650M Gaming Plus WiFi motherboard
  • 32GB 6000MHz RAM (brand/model may vary)
  • 1TB Gen 4 NVME SSD
  • 850W Gold PSU (brand/model may vary)
  • Antec CX500M case (other options available)

Other deals

  • Ryzen 7 7800X3D | RTX 5070 Ti: $2799

Continuing to make progress on our 5080 and 5090 orders as per last deal - systems moving into build and shipping daily, with the March cards also expected on schedule.

Spectacular deal as per usual, just a shame that team green has absolutely butchered this launch and now waiting for the 6090 most likely :(

    • haha, here we go again. HODL for 6090!!

      • But with a valid reason.. its not like the 2080 to the 3090 or the 3090 to the 4090 or even the 1080 to the 2080.. IF you obtain your GPU at MSRP which is a god given, its around a 25% increase in performance from the 4090 to the 5090 for.. a 25% increase in price..

Great deal as always! I've noticed that you never allow upgrades to the motherboard, maybe something you could do in the future? Obviously we'd pay the extra for it

    • +8

It's getting them in sufficient quantity that's the problem really - anything listed means we can get it enough to offer widely - if it's not, it's generally a quantity thing. The way things are at the moment, it's like the brands don't understand that people like buying PCs or something?

      • +1

Don't even get me started on the industry ;p

      • The way things are at the moment, it's like the brands don't understand that people like buying PCs or something?

It’s worse than that. They want everyone to buy completely closed black boxes instead that the companies will have full control over, so that revenue can keep being extracted over and over again.

  • Hopefully Switch 2 will save gaming.

  • +1

Even though I would rather redirect all my funds into a future 5090. It's good to see luke doing the best with what he can here. It gives me hope that oneday 5090's will become as attainable as 4090 was.

    • +1

I would wait given the quality control issues, seems like you either get melting plastic or missing parts at the moment

  • Nice deal! I already ordered the 5070 one so I'll stick to it 🤣

  • Hi Luke,

Any chance I would be able to cancel my 5070 ti build so I can get this. Invoice no: TF48214434021

  • +1

Hmm CPU dropped from 9800x3d to 7800x3d but same price. And the palit GPU was previously marked at RRP for $2019.
Now labelled at $2449 for the pny.

    • +8

No current list price on the Palit card on PCPP so can only use the lowest listed price. And everything has gone up, so to keep the price the same for very minimal performance difference, 7800X3D is the one.

      • +4

The market is insane right now for PC buying I appreciate what you are saying but can't help feel bad for people who adopt later and get less components for same price.

        • +4

Welcome to 2025, pay more get less.

        • +1

Is it really surprising? Just looked at PCCase and a 9800x3d is $919 when I got mine release night for $799 flat

          • @Duplicity: It was also that price in the last deal they posted. The reason techfast have provided is solely off the market GPU prices

        • PC parts often go in price cycles though, it's not new. There were plenty of times over the years where ram or HDD prices doubled/halved due to supply and demand.

    • I thought Luke explained the current market in his description pretty well. As disasterous a launch this has been for team green - it'll be many many months before we see cards at those RRPs again. This is a great opportunity to secure a card at close to what it's actually worth.

      • He did it just sucks for people who are late adopters. As the build is still lower than previous for same cost.
Anyway we don't know the full story if it's actually costing them more to buy the GPU. But what we do know is that retailers are bumping up the prices due to selling out quickly on launch.
Also I think if the CPU was lower they could have at least bumped up something else like SSD to at least give at least an upgrade somewhere else.
Techfast are still the cheapest even with the lower CPU. But just feel bad for the customers.

Also unless you are extremely desperate I would skip this gen entirely and show NVIDIA your voice with your pocket.
Bad launch in comparison to any other generation
Sadly I already think they got the message that no matter what people will buy

        • +1

i think this one is on ppl, there have been many signs that pointed to prices going up this year and Black Friday deals we had last year were the best its gonna get
if you Hodled then this crapshow is on you

          • @botchie: I'm not affected but get what you are saying and hence my last sentence in the comment the people have spoken regarding the new prices. NVIDIA knows they can get away with it

            • @maverickjohn: yeah cashvidia knows how to make cash, but again, peoples attitude has changed over the years, no way my generation would spend the cash on a 4090 or 5090 just to game, iqs are going lower sadly

              • @botchie: I can't tell if you mean 'my generation' as in boomer or in zoomer…

                • @Jolakot: Try between , let's call us rational generation

  • +1

Got my 5080 Gamerock GPU only from the previous deal. Supper happy, overclock amazingly and it has all of its ROPs 😆

    • How is the fan noise? I bought a Gainward 3080 from techfast in 2021 during the crypto GPU price gouging time, great card but fan noise is truly awful.

      • +1

Fan noise is really good actually. GPU runs very cool in my sandwich style ITX case too. About 68 degrees max with a heavy overclock on the stock bios. Pretty sure the stock bios is on the silent mode, I forgot to check before installing it.

        • That's great to hear.

Maybe if they're available for sale on their own I'll pick one up then, thanks!

    • Heavy overclock.. is it the OC model? I’ve read that the power slider is locked at 100% for the non-OC version but you can flash the OC bios on for better gains (available on the overclockers forums).

      • +1

Nope, it's just the standard model (non-OC).

After using this card I am convinced OC vs non-OC is not relevant if you manually overclock this generation.

Running 436 core clock and 1000 mem clock completely stable. I haven't messed around with the mem clock much though.

She sits at over 3200mhz while gaming. Very impressed.

The power slider is locked at 100% and you cannot increase it but you don't need to. It just overclocks like a champ anyway.

        • +1

Awesome to hear! Cant wait to get mine now and not have to worry about flashing the bios.

  • +3

Are 40 series GPU deals dead

    • 40 series stopped production months ago, there aren't any new ones available.

  • @luketechfast

Any chance you could do a a 4TB boot drive and just add the cost difference?

    • You'll have a a spare slot to buy your own NVME SSD. Just BYO

      • The motherboard only has two NVME slots.

I already have a 990 pro I'll continue using as a boot drive, so if the drive that comes with it isn't a good data drive to use as a secondary, it'll just go in the spare parts pile to die and that's completely pointless.

        • So stick your 990 Pro onto eBay to cash it out, use the drive they supply as your boot drive, and buy your own 4TB drive for the second empty slot.
          Problem solved.

  • +1

Completely understand the bs market situation and insane price hikes. But can we opt to select the 9800x3d even if it costs more? Or elect to not go with 7800x3d as an option and BYO processor.

The sensible choice is to wait for the supply to catch up to demand and for the prices to cool off but perhaps having the 9800x3d as an option would be good.

    • Agreed. I really wanna get myself a 7950x3d.

BYO processor will save me a bunch of fluffing about trying to sell the 7800x3d.

  • +4

Bring back the 12400f 4060 ITX for $688

  • -1

Got myself a 4070 Ti super PC and happy I've avoided this drama and overblown prices for barely 7-12% extra performance approx across all the new cards, give or take.

  • +3

FWIW I'd read up on all the issues with the 50x0 cards that keep being reported before making any expensive purchase.

  • +3

Hi Luke, I’m still waiting on an update from my order from the last batch with my “on hand” 5080 and getting mixed messages from the sales team and limited responses. Is there a way to talk to someone directly to get a clear answer on what went wrong?

    • +3

I am also waiting on my 5080 build that said GPU on hand from 3 and a half weeks ago. Order status hasn't moved and haven't heard anything at all. Is it likely we will hear something this week?

      • +3

I’m in the same boat. I emailed to try and get confirmation that my order was in fact “on hand” but got the same canned response as others, that they can’t give updates about individual orders.

    • +5

Techfast effectively act as drop shippers. They did the exact same thing with the 30 series launch, advertised as 'in stock' but 2 months later still waiting for parts to come in. Looks like they're back to their old tricks. Absolute joke of a business.

      • +1

While I am frustrated at the lack of transparency the first deal is way to good to cancel and im willing to wait.

    • I'm guessing they don't have any. I don't know how they are doing another deal with a 5080 when my order from the last deal hasn't even entered the build stage yet and that was 26 days ago. I also paid the extra 100 for the on hand card. Whoever buys this deal is going to be waiting til April for delivery

  • +1

@luketechfast Are there any 5090 builds soon?

  • +2

If there was ever a better time to hold off on a purchase for at least 6 months, it's now. Aside from stock catching up with demand creating downward pressure on prices, all the faulty issues and missing ROPs with the RTX 5080 and 5090's will be sorted out by then too

    • not saying youre not right but the problem then is, youll be able to say to yourself well i might as well wait for the 60 series

  • Hi Luke, i just order a PC. Wanted to know if i will get an updated invoice after it is delivered to reflect the more acurate date of when i get the machine? Dont want to be 2 months into a 12 month warranty before i even get my hands on it.

    • Warranty would begin from the ship date, no issues there.

  • -1

Absolute bangers. 9800x3D is essentially the same thing for 5080 combo with 1440p and above. So I think this is essentially the same deal back in stock, which is amazing.

    Thanks Luke!

  • hey luke, whats the go with missing rops on the 5080 and 5090, do you guys check before sending out the systems? cheers been following your posts for a while and wanting to finally upgrade from my i3, 4060 thats been limping along for the last year

  • Prices will absolutely go up again next deal, probably $200+ in line with the card pricing.

And if prices go down next month - while I assume you'll spread the cost to keep things competitive - what kind of lag are we talking between that hypothetical shift and your prices returning to that level? 4-6 weeks after?

  • I wonder what the prices will drop to when the overwhelming demand subsides?

  • I've taken the plunge and bought one for my Bday present. Thanks Luke for publishing this deal today as I was planning to buy the 5070ti deal today :)

  • I would really like some more clarification on the 5090 situation from the previous deal.

As far as I know nobody that ordered it through the ozbargain link has had their order fufilled, but your reply on the last thread sounds like you dont have any 5090s left. Do you actually have the cards for the very few 5090 systems sold in the last deal, or if you dont, when do you actually expect to get them?

  • @luketechfast
Any chance for 4070ti Super deal in upcoming days please?

    • doubt there will be any DEAL, sure you may still able to find some 4070ts, but are you willing to pay 5070ti price for 4070ts? especially when you compare those 4070ts deal in Dec Jan.

  • @luketechfast Are there any 5090 builds soon? (hopefully with higher end 5090s?)

    • Previous deal included the Palit Gamerock 5090, but seemingly none (including mine) have been fulfilled yet. Palit seems to be the only aib offering reasonable pricing.

  • By the reports from people on this thread and previous 50xx deal by Techfast shouldn’t this be labelled as a “PREORDER” ??

Whilst no doubt a deal, my 2 cents is that it’s genuinely misleading when a retailer advertises a product and they don’t actually have it in stock …
