Amazing price for the BDB. If you enjoy your coffee, it is worth the money.

    • Im so happy to see this post i got it for like 800$ a year ago i think

      • Which grinder are you using?

        • DF64E

        • Breville smart grinder pro.

          Which one u use btw?

          • @ATTS: That's an ok one for starters, but get the above one (df64) for better shots

    • Not really, these used to go on sale in $800 range a few years ago. Then slowly crept up to the $900's, and now $1000 range is considered a sale.

      • Probably been 20% cumulative inflation over the last few years so the prices are probably equivalent.

Can you use multiple gift cards to purchase the BDB? Asking because only the $100 and $200 denominations are upsized cashback via SB at the moment.

      Seconding this question

    • +1

I was only able to use a max of 3 gift cards online

Very decent saving if you add 83" G4 OLED & S40T Soundbar to cart, comes down to $7029.50. If you purchase $7,100 of Bing Lee gift cards via Shopback, with the 5% saving, you effectively pay $6,706.78

If you could offload the Soundbar for $200, that's pretty much down to what would be likely ATL of $6.5k for 83" G4…

Not sure about availability, might be worth reaching out to their chat if you are interested

and if something goes horribly wrong with that transaction then you’re left with $6.7k worth of Bing Lee gift cards.

I’d rather just pay the extra $300ish than risk being another ozbargain gift card issue forum topic

This is the old model dual boiler. It’s been updated to the BES920BSS

    • It's exactly the same thing, even has that model number in the link.

      • -1

Where? BSS is the key. I can’t see that in the bing lee product page. Clearance item too suggests it’s older model

        • As nubis said, BSS is the colour code. Stainless steel. BKS is black sesame, BTR is black truffle.

          • @Grhyso: Thanks for clarifying- am I correct they have updated it though - I thought they updated the o ring issue?

            • @punkel: They did, but the only way to know is via the serial number. After a certain serial number, it was the revised model. It did come about 2 years ago though, so very likely the new model.

I picked up the older model on clearance for around $700 after discounted gift cards from the Good Guys. Had to replace a couple of probes, but other than that, hasn’t skipped a beat!

        • I couldn’t find their eBay listing but I did recall all suppliers weren’t selling the dual boiler until Breville had supplied the newer version

  • BSS is a colour code. The model name hasn’t changed since BES900.

  • Gah bit annoyed at myself.

Wanted to pick up a Motorola G55 128GB 5G with the 15% off. It went down to $245 with delivery.
Messing around with ShopBack and Gift Cards, by the time I got it all going Bing Lee retracted the discount on Motorola phones.

Ah well, if anyone sees another great deal on the G55's, hit up OzB!
    G'night all.

    • The discount for that Motorola is still showing in my cart

      • +2

I actually have an issue where the discount would be removed when I proceed to payment.

        • Had the same issue too.

    • Hi, I have a similar problem. I tried to purchase a Samsung A35 and when it processed payment the first time, it timed out. Try to order a second time and the 15% off no longer applies. When I cleared the cart and add the phone again, the discount will show but when I select payment, the discount is removed. No idea why. Emailed Bing Lee about it but probably no one will look at it before the sale ends at 9:00am. They should really just let the sale active for whole of the 29th. Such a gimmicky thing to have a sale during non business hours where customers are experiencing issues with support off-line.

  • Do price matched items get these promotions too?

  • Is there a limit to number of gift cards that can be used on bing lee site?

Edit: Just checked out, and it's max of 3 gift cards

  • OOS for the BDB

I am furious at myself for not seeing this earlier.
