      0 in WA

      • It's been like this for a while now … looks like Malaga just got an order in though.

        • +2

Same with Subiaco. Spoke with Customer Service earlier and they said most stores have them on order and on the way in for WA (for the 2030 psi model anyway)

    • -1

The 1160psi model is a toy.
Totally useless. Dont even waste your time looking at it.

The only one to consider is the 2030 psi model.
It has the same power as Ryobi 1800w model selling for $269
So at $85 the ozito is a bargain!

      • Why reply to me about this? FFS

I know you've seen this reply and I also know you won't give an answer.

        • So people dont waste their time chasing "stock" of the 1160 model ..yes?

          • +1

@HeWhoKnows: So your ninja edit proved it wasn't a valid contribution. Cheers

            • -1

@MS Paint: Just stick to the topic like I do and stop wasting everyones time

  • +1

Tempted just to have one as a beater to chuck in the Ute instead of my nicer karcher lol

  • +1

No stock in WA for 2000 PSI one :( been refreshing this since yesterday but no luck :(

  • +3

Safe or adjustable pressure to use for washing a car/ motorbike/ bicycle?

    • +4

Keep at least 30cm away from painted surfaces

    • +1

Has adjustable nozzle (wide or narrow) unlike the Karcher, but still min 30cm from any surfaces

  • +3

What’s normal price for the higher unit? 99?

  • Is it work getting the 2000psi over the 1000psi version? do they come with any compatible foam gun attachments for washing cars?

    • +11

Flow rate and PSI of the cheap one make it a piece of junk. Don't bother. Get the bigger version or save your money.

    • really depends on what you're doing.
if you are washing your car and doing some light work, then its a great deal.
dont think this is going to work like the commercial pressure washers you see on social media.

      • Disagree
You can use a hose to wash your car.
No point in spending money on a pressure washer in that case.

Total waste of money, because when it comes time to do a real pressure washing job - the 1160 psi model will go in the bin.

  • I have an old Karcher K2 1150 PSI unit which I use with autogylm polar blaster pre-wash, would the ozito 2000 psi make a big difference if anyone is cluey about this stuff?

    • Wouldn't the 2000 be more harsher on the car paint?

My bet is to stick with the K2 for this specific application…

      • I don't think I've ever heard of anyone using the 2000 psi model of a pressure washer (which is unlikely to be the actual pressure it delivers in real world conditions anyway) have an issue with car paint.

      • +3

Lol. You don't hold the gun outlet directly on the paint.

      • Been washing my car with the 2030 PSI for a while now with no issue. Just need to soak those bugs in the front with the hose or a normal spray before applying the high pressure flow.

        • Can u inbox me mate need some info

    • +1

Karcher K2 is a very good pressure washer and in fact 1750psi.
      Comes with 2 great guns.
      See here:
      https://www.bunnings.com.au/karcher-k2-power-control_p038567…

There are also plenty of parts and accessories selling very cheaply on eBay

So in that case, the Ozito wont make a noticeable difference and forget about getting parts and accessories cheap with Ozito

      keep the K2 !!!.

  • Are we able to adjust the PSI ?

For example if we get the 2030PSI model, can we lower the pressure (using the nozzle or other) to clean surfaces where you want to keep the paint job safe?

    • +4

you can widen the spray which technically lowers the pressure

    • +14

Take a step backwards and the pressure reduces. Adjust with any variation thereoff to achieve desired pressure.

    • Some brands have nozzles that can adjust both spray pattern and pressure.
      But not the Ozito.
      Its cheap and chearful.
But as people have already mentioned, there are workarounds

  • Stores around me never seem to have stock when these deals come up.

  • +2

Can anyone share thoughts on the 2030psi model - powerful enough to clean a driveway? Obviously it can do it(my half strength car washing one can do it if I had a whole week to spare lol), but can it do it effective/efficiently? Very tempted to pick one up on the way home this afternoon. I was going to rent one but honestly would cost me the same amount as buying this one. I have no desire for the pavement fitting I like using the gun with a flat spray.

    • +2

I bought one a week ago for $99.
The pressure is strong but it seems taking long as my drive pavement was so dirt.
I would rather get a professional to clean it.

      • +2

As long as its strong enough to do the job I don't mind if it takes longer. Professionals charge way too much for what the job is, plus the satisfaction is well worth it :P Thank you Ill go pick up one local.

    • +1

No. Hire a petrol on with that flat attachment. It will be heaps faster like 20 times faster. Otherwise if you have patience, you can do it with that 2030 model. It will be slow.

      • +1

You hit the nail on the head !!!

I was given a third party hose and gun for my Ryobi 1800w/ 2000 psi washer.
Both hose and gun were much longer and stronger.
And yes, it actually came off a petrol washer that was used to wash down huge dirty trucks, truck wheels and tyres.
The gun had the universal nozzle attachment so could attach any professional nozzle onto it.
But it came with one of those metal fan nozzles anyway.
This professional hose, gun and nozzle made a huge difference to the performance of my Ryobi 1800w / 2000 psi washer.
Luckily the end of the hose that attaches to my Ryobi had the same universal M22 connection.

So the truth is that all these handyman (universal) pressure washers are let down by the cheap hoses, guns and nozzles that come supplied with them. What a pity.

So unless your pressure washer has the universal M22 hose connection, you are stuck with the rubbish hose and gun which they supply….
And unfortunately the Ozito model has a proprietory quick connect hose (both ends) so you cannot attach one of these professional hose and guns with the universal M22 connection to the Ozito washer..

So yes, those fixed spray pattern nozzles do a much better job.
But you dont need a petrol washer to get a huge boost in performance

        • Which common brands normally have a M22 connection? They don't label that on features/specifications.

    • I have 2030 one and it works wonder but its slow for a large concrete clean job. I would likely buy the rotary attachment to expedite the process.

      • The rotary attachment is just a soft rotating brush with 4 small jet outlets.
So pressure is significantly reduced (like by 75%)
Hence its no power washer by any standard.
Aparently it does work for some people, but not everyone is happy with it if you check the reviews.
Some reviewers say it is useless on a driveway and that a garden hose does a better job.

FYI The ozito Patio cleaning kit cost $40 but is out of stock in most stores so good luck finding one.
See here if you want to know more: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pressure-washer-patio-clea…

You might consider scrubbing down your driveway with a proper hard bristle floor scrubber.
        Like this one - https://www.bunnings.com.au/oates-long-handle-deck-scrub-bru…

That are more of a marketing gimmick to create a difference to other brands and models

    • +3

the fine beam water jet is the most powerful one but will take ages to clean
the flat spray jet covers more area but is not as powerful as fine beam
so buy its turbo lance attachment which combines somewhat maybe 70% power of the fine beam but keeps rotating it so it covers almost same area as a flat jet. Using turbo lance attachment you can cover more area faster. https://www.bunnings.com.au/ozito-pressure-washer-turbo-lanc…

if you are looking for youtube video like fast and awesome cleaning then hire a petrol powered pressure washer or use concrete cleaning chemicals before ozito pressure washer, for an above average cleaning turbo lance will do good enough a job.

      • Turbo nozzle is definitely better than the standard adjustable spray nozzle which is supplied.
However the rotating fine spray from turbo nozzles can be so powerful, that it can damage bricks, mortar, pavers and possibly concrete, so take care and test it first.

    • You need patience and a good long, non-kinking hose, professional gun and metal fan nozzle.
Not the cheap, rubbish, plastic hose, gun and nozzle supplied with all these "domestic" pressure cleaners.
Mades no difference if its a Karcher, Ryobi, Bosch or Ozito
They all come with the same crap, cheap, plastic hoses, guns and nozzles

As they old saying goes…its not WHAT you do, but HOW you do it
ALTERNATIVELY If you want to do the job right, you need the right tools

Hence the Ozito 2030 model wont make much difference, even though it may be more powerful.
Its a bargain basement, cheap and cheerful model and we all know that.

Cleaning driveways is NOT FAST and EASY WORK

Thats why professionals charge $$$ hundreds

      • +1

Happy to report back that this model did my whole driveway over the weekend no problems. Granted it took longer than originally thought, 6hrs instead of 4, but honestly thats okay with headphones in. I found it quite therapeutic honestly. I couldn't justify paying someone to do such a job, the same way I couldn't pay someone to push a mower around my lawn.

    • It’s very powerful, but it comes with a less powerful attachment.

It’s $16 the proper head and that will take half as long to do the driveway. I guess that’s Bunnings way of selling the unit cheaper not supplying in the box.

  • Anyone got any suggestions on what foam blaster to pair with this for washing the car?

    Thanks

  • I have a cheapie of this , plastic pump I think, which I bought in 2015. Still going.

  • Seems strange that bunnings WA dont have any stock of the 2000 psi washers?? I wonder what is going on, surely they want to sell them.

    • -1

Remember they tried to cut off the rest of Oz off…..

Ozito Pressure Washer Patio Cleaner HPW-PC

    $39.98

Compatible with the Ozito 1800W 2030psi High Pressure Washer (HPW-2030)

This Patio Cleaner is a handy accessory for your Ozito 1800W 2030psi High Pressure Washer (HPW-2030). Make quick work of dirt and grime, moss and algae from patios, driveways, garden paths and pavers.

    • Or wait til Aldi special and buy the 2320 model from Bunnings (they only sell them when Aldi sells theirs). 8m hose and comes with patio cleaner.

    • Someone mentioned plastic build quality and making it weaker with the attachment from previous comments. Any real experience so far?

  • Got one, thank you 😊

  • Can you dial down the pressure on these without changing the nozzle spread? If not any suggestions for high pressure with low pressure option?

  • +1

I would suggest getting a 1/4" adaptor such as this one as the Ozito accessory range is pretty poor. This was you can use generic 1/4" quick connect accessories such as foam cannon or different spray tips.

  • Thanks OP! Purchased and free delivery with OnePass

  • Good price drop on the 1kW while slightly increased on the 1.8kW.

  • Is it a good idea to use a pressure washer to get road grime off a waxed car?

    • +1

It'll be less likely to scratch than wiping it off with a sponge or cloth. As some have suggested, wet or soap the grime at low pressure first to loosen it. Then spray from a distance and move closer until the grime comes off.

Is $84.79 great value for money to wash cars at home? What else will I need with this can someone help tks

    • +1

I think it is good value compared to going to a car wash. If you get a foam cannon from aliexpress and some car shampoo and a microfiber mitt and a bucket you can get really good results. Follow it up with whatever spray on ceramic or silicone or graphene product is on special and your car will look nicer than 90% of ones on the road. If you use a clay bar and polish the car when it needs it it will look better than 99%. I also use my pressure washer to help clean the outside of the house, blasting spiderwebs off the windows, that sort of stuff, although it's helpful to have a longer hose for that.

      • Thanks

      • Which foam cannon you got from Aliexpress? Is the Autoglym or Bowden worths the money?

        • I got this one. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007067159999.html
I've never tried the Autoglym or Bowdens ones so I can't speak to that. However the aliexpress one foamed up really well so even if they are better it's a marginal difference. Like a lot of niche hobbies the car cleaning/detailing world seems obsessed with "the absolute best" with thousands of hours of youtube videos comparing various products, but you can save a looot of money with "good enough"

  • Is there is stock not near me - can I still do delivery? I'm unable to setup delivery but there is certainly stock around - just not in my location!

    • +1

Go to the product page and click 'change store' on the Click & Collect field. Once its set to a store with stock you'll be able to add it to cart.

Proceed to checkout then find the button that says 'change all items to delivery'

  • Heap of Perth locations have them in stock now, just picked one up from Maddington….

They still have $99 on the price but checkout is $84.80

  • I ordered the bigger Ozito pressure washer (1800W 2030PSI) and Bunnings instead sent out thisRyobi (1600W 1885 PSI)

Being priced at $229 I assume it's a favourable deal for me, especially since it comes with 2 lance's, foaming bottle and rotary brush?

The lower PSI is slightly annoying but probably negligible?
