  • Does anyone have a feedback on this ? Is it good for car wash?

    • should be, specs seems better than ozito $99 one. I have ozito and aliexpress snow foam cannon, and it works great.

Good hose length for washing the car as well.

        🤣

Try getting a spare when that one breaks.

That was my experience (not this particular model but Aldi/ Ferrex/ whatever) - had to bin it. Never again.

        • +3

Like nearly every Aldi centre aisle item - there are typically no serviceable or replaceable parts. You bin them and start again fresh.

        • Agree, had a Repco one. Stil works great but the gun failed. No replacement parts all , shame cause now goes into land fill when the main unit of the compressor is fine

          • @fitzy87: My last washer was / is an ozito. The hose on that failed too. Replacement was a special order since the model was updated. That bit of resistance slowed me down and got me thinking.

Luckily on mine the pump end fitting was a standard (22mm), just the gun had their special one. (The newer models have the special one on the pump too.) I ended up finding an adapter on ebay to convert it to 3/8" quick connect. I also standardised on 1/4" quick connects for any end pieces (guns, telescopic poles, brushes, etc.). Now I have a range of hoses and tools all got off ebay for fair prices, generics and easy to replace. Heaps of American options and they love their tools. When the ozito craps itself I will from now always look for a unit with standard fittings.

I bought this from Aldi for $99 couple of years ago. It's not bad for car wash, you'll still need to manually scrub with a sponge after spraying foam for a complete clean. Good for removing bird droppings though. Spray bottle had a plastic attachment which broke after few uses. Patio cleaner is good for regular cleaning, it just takes longer to clean properly. I now use it to clean venetian blinds and gutters ( attach with a long pole and tape the trigger to clean without a ladder). Once cleaned roof with a 4m pole and ladder !

    • It's good for car wash, and it was great when I got it last year on clearance for $74.99.

    Which brand is it?

    • Ferrex

      • Bueller?

@jv if only you didn't bold your words, I reckon most of the negs would disappear.

Not that you've cared about the negs over the years though. You seem to rather enjoy them. Quite a skill

You seem to rather enjoy them.

Not really. They don't really mean anything.

It's more telling about the insecurities of the people casting the votes.

@MS Paint: Therapists hate this one simple trick!

  • Do Bunnings usually drop their prices on any Ozito, Ryobi or Gerni pressure washers when these are on sale? Like they do with drills etc.

    • +1

      Usually

    • -8

      Unlikely

    • +1

Yes, if they don't have an Ozito equivalent something from the Bunnings range will drop in price to match as an alternative.

  • I'll try again. Bought the pressure washer from the last Aldi sale and the motor crapped itself after 3 washes. Returned for a refund.

  • Got it on clearance before for $99. Really liked it it failed after two years. They never repair but gave me a full refund

  • Picked up one today from my local ALDI. Was going to get the Ozito but ALDI is closer and more convenient

  • Hey question for anyone that has this. How does the soap tank work? Do you just put detergent in and start spraying? I tried but mine isn't spraying out any soapy water. Possibly not enough or too dilute?
