  • Is the 40% Temu for existing customers as well as new customers ?

  • What to buy?

    • +1

Some pretty bright flesh lights on special at Temu. Good to keep for those dark times.

      • Aren't flesh lights for fun times?

  • Is there a $30 limit for TEMU aswell or just aliexpress?

  • Should I be seeing something from my last Temu 40% cashback? There isn't anything to indicate that I'm getting cashback other than an acknowledgement of merchant click. No pending, nothing.

    • +4

If it's not in your 'Earnings' tab as a pending transaction then lodge a 'Missing Cashback' claim using the Merchant Click

    • +8

I submitted a claim 2 month ago still no update. I won't buy anything from them until they give me the cashback.

      • Me too.

        • Return the stuff

          • @foreverphoenix: I already used the stuff…

            • @Chopel: I used and returned without issue. The problem is if you don’t return it, that’ll embolden them. It’s kinda fraud.
Having said that I haven’t had issues with cash returns recently

temu has stopped tracking for me twice now

    • +2

That sucks, my last 3 orders (30/11, 15/12, 30/12) tracked and I was really hoping that maybe they fixed their tracking.

    • Temu never tracked for me. I tried multiple times with Cashrewards, Shopback and Topcashback.

  • Dam I just ordered 200$ of stuff

Straight to the Penalty Box you go!

TopCashback rejected my last 2 x 40% Temu orders. (after showing tracked amounts for more than a month)

Aliexpress link from TCB goes to a Sorry, we can't find that page on aliexpress, anyone have same issue?

    • +1

It's normal don't worry. Just tap on the AliExpress logo and continue browsing.

As great as this sounds, Temu is really unreliable with tracking. I would estimate that only about 60% have tracked and the rest declined by temu. So that 40% saving is much lower in the end.

Now I only use temu coupons so that I am sure I am getting the discounted price, albeit at lower discount (around 25% instead of 40%).

Been stung too many times by cashback on Temu (TCB have been great, though)

    • +2

where do you find the coupons?

      • +3

The usual soon the wheel spam in the app - buy 3x things, get $350 worth of coupons. The trick is to minimise the 3x things you buy. Don't forget you can use the chatbot to re enable expired coupons ANNNNND you can price adjustment.

        • wow i did not know you could re enable expired coupons, how old can they be as i would have a lot expired.

          • +2

@n0mad: Have re enabled coupons as old as 3mths I think, could maybe go further. I reckon as long as you can see them in your expired coupons list you have a chance!

      • +1

it's usually 1 of those annoying pop-ups that you probably close straight away. You usually have to buy 2 qualifying orders first, my last time i was able to order 2 items under $2 to then get a $450 coupon bundle, they also then give some bonus coupons but i have a stack to use from $15 of $40 to $120 off $420. usually the $30 off $100 or $40 of $120 is enough for me.

So as anthman said around 25% when you factor the 2 items you have to buy to qualify for the coupons.

other benefit is you can use the price adjustment without worrying about impacting cashback and also ask for refunds on anything that's a piece of ….

    • Haha I took this advice and bought 3 items for like $4 and it let me checkout with free shipping under the normal $40 minimum order requirement, got the coupon bundle but this time around won’t let me around the $40 minimum

  • need suggestions of what to buy… run out of idea…

    • +1

wow… possibilities are endless, perhaps assist with answering the below questions so we can give you some more direct advice,

What pain points do you encounter in the mundane tasks in your life that a useless piece of junk could assist with?

how long does the useless piece of junk need to last, a. single use, b. 1 week, c. month or d. longer.

Finally, does the item need to have a min fake reviews or min stars from the fake reviews?

      • haha thanks - i will browse a little longer and look around the house of any improvement ideas

    • +1

Examples of some recent buys i made:

      Stainless steel chopping board
      Garden sprinkler
Dog collar with custom name tag
      Solar garden lights
      Thongs/sandles

Temu on the whole is definitely more a circus than Aliexpress. A lot more fake reviews id say, and in general the depth of higher quality items is much less compared to Aliexpress. That said, there is still a big overlap of products that you can get cheaper via Temu using deals.

I have not had any tracking issues using Android Mobile. I close all APPs first, strictly use Mobile internet connection, TopCashback APP through to Temu mobile web. Items then added to cart. Works for me.

      • strictly use Mobile internet connection -> wow dont think it will matter but i will follow your way.
ah thanks. solar garden is good idea.
also the water tap on the garden is kind of low i dont want to bent all the time to get water (to my watering jug) looking for some kind of extension or just a short hose. or maybe get those shrinking hose?

My temu order from 29th Oct never tracked and I've had to raise a dispute for each item, 9 in total. It still says "waiting for retailer after 2 months".

    Terrible experience.

    • Same here!

  • 40% off your skin from flammable clothing https://www.abc.net.au/news/2025-01-07/temu-recall-flammable…

  • I'm already 40 orders deep on this sale with AliExpress. I don't need anymore 😅

    • +2

What did you buy for 40 orders? For inspiration to buy ;-)

    • 17 for me. using your method to activate cashback worked a treat.

  • I would say it's more like 30% after their weird calculations. I ordered $149 during their 45% cb and got $55 tracked, which looks to be about 38% taking out gst

  • From topcashback app (samsung, Android) when i click temu it will bring me to temu page in browser not mobile app. How to change this?

    • I think there's a button on the top right that takes you to the app.

      • oh and the tracking will follow? im afraid if i change to app like that, it will break the tracking. oh well i done it anyway lets see in couple months if i get the cash back or not haha

  • +2

Mins spend $30 while aliexpress is $15

    • the 15 ali is for choice items only, and based on my experience, the choice items are a bit more expensive.

  • Qld loses out last hour

  • Only one of two orders tracked, disappointed. Although the exact same happened with Cashrewards but with only one order, i wonder if it's something to do with aliexpress.
