BWS 30% Cashback (Capped at $25 per transaction). Confirmed with the rep.

My tips:

  • Wait till it tracks before you pick up the order. You can cancel if it doesn't track.
  • Consider using the BWS website (& not the BWS app) as other cashback sites state cashback is not eligible via the BWS app.
  • Based on previous feedback, pick up orders can only be placed at some BWS stores during opening hours.

  • Any Gift Card, Voucher or store credit purchase

Refunds, cancellations and no-shows
Any rejected, cancelled, refunded, exchanged or returned purchases will not be eligible for Cashback.

BWS terms and conditions:

    anyone had issues with the bonus 100% of the Heineken Silver bottle with their cashback? I did one more than 2 weeks ago. The order was more than $50 and I added a single bottle to the order. The cashback is still showing as the original tracked amount. Is that meant to get adjusted at the 2 week mark, or does it show as a separate cashback amount later? I've never done one of these extra bonus ones before (This was done during a 30% upsized cashback like this, including 5% bonus Westpac)
    Edit, I will check again on 17th April….just noticed it says 14 BUSINESS days after transaction date

      Yes - I did 3 transactions and never tracked. I would just preemptively message them. Such a pain in the backside.

        • Just happened to me also - order total excluding the bottle was bang on $50, $55 with the bottle, tracked at only the 30% on $55 ($16.50). Will set a reminder. Good thing there's no rush to pick up for BWS.

            Just to clarify the 100% Cashback on Heineken Silver offer:

            • 🧾 You need to spend at least $50 in a single transaction (excluding the Heineken)
            • ✅ The purchase must include at least one Heineken Silver 330ml bottle (individual item)
            • 💰 Cashback is capped to the price of ONE 330ml bottle per customer, even if you bought more than one or a full case
            • 🕒 The bonus cashback should show up as a separate entry after 14 business days from your purchase date

  • Last time this offer came up, I got the cashback on the order but not on the bottle of Heineken Silver (I ordered >$50).

          Your purchase may not track when you use the BWS app. App only offers may not receive cashback too.
          ShopBack hasn't mentioned this but Cashrewards and TopCashback state not to use the BWS app.

      Their search has always been ass. I suspect it is intentional to push towards the "deals" pages. Makes it hard to figure out what is actually the cheapest option.

  • lol FML i just ordered $200 worth yesterday. The app crashed and then failed to reapply the discount and i had to call them to put the order in.

    The deal is good, if it tracks and is honored. Cashback may manually add it when you follow up but they never get paid out. Particularly with BWS in my experience

    • Nope, not tracked. I placed two orders and neither have tracked (the plugin says it was, but account details do not show it.)

      Thay was at 6am (…was craving a beer.)

      • Oh no. I would suggest not to pick up the order and cancel later if it still hasn't track.

        • I often see this said, but how do you "cancel later"?

          Last time I had to call a 1300 customer service number and was on hold for a longgg time. They would refuse to cancel it in store, I figured after a week it would just refund but a month later it was still "awaiting pick up" although they had already resold the stock.

          Is there a way to do it without wasting prolific amounts of time chasing up BWS or Shopback?

              • @pennypincher98: Several comments on OzB that one has to phone BWS (1300 138 297) to cancel an online order and cannot be done in-store. People have cancelled their orders. Perhaps that link applies to non-online orders but BWS contradict themselves.

                • @trixieb: Oh I am aware people have cancelled their orders, I have too. It wasn't worth the hoops I had to jump through, so I was wondering if there was an easier way like there is with basically every other bottle shop lol.

                  I forgot how little some people value their time here 😂

                    @pennypincher98: It is probably easier to cancel a BWS order that didn't track than try to get payment from SB/BWS.
                    SB fans also love the free 10c clicks 😂

      Yes, tracked in under an hour. For shopback I always use the SB app + paypal for payment which seems to be a combo for getting tracked consistently and quickly.

      The BWS site within the SB app was painfully slow but did work.

    Because this is per transaction and not per member, do not stack with the $30 off 200 unless your one item is >$200. It is better to split up into 2 separate transactions.

      Unless one item is $200 or very close to it, and you throw on a cheap item to get it to $200 to make use of the $30 off, better to do multiple purchases, each at 30% cashback

  • Yeah word of warning for others, mine did not track last week through the app even though the app gives the impression it's tracking as it has a green BWS cashback activated up the top. Just replicating what I did last week and there is a very quick pop up when the app opens that says something like "only transactions through website are eligible for cashback) so yeah don't use app as it didn't track and it sounds like even if it did it wouldn't be eligible.

      • I only use the ShopBack app for all my purchases. ShopBack app to BWS website. Not BWS app in case of issues with tracking or cashback rejection of app only offers.

    Jesus their website is still screwed hours later. No way am i chancing an order in its current state, so many navigations bugs and glitches. Bunch of clowns.

    Tracked within 15 minutes. Wow. This hasn't happen for a while. After a while and many emails, I also received a credit for the Monkey shoulder I previously purchased - marked 'good will.' I'll take it.
