Looks like a decent deal. And you can use the Amex Kogan offer(200-20 or 50-10) to bring it down further.

With monitors you almost universally get what you pay for
Review is for the newer VG27AQL1A not the VG27AQ1A posted by the OP.
Love monitor naming … not at all confusing
They're the same monitor, just different stand
while we are on kogan, what people think about this ?

i received $20 targetted kogan voucher, and also $10 amex cashbackThat's honestly pretty nasty, even if you aren't gaming, I'd try spending a little more for something like this: https://www.ple.com.au/products/668471/aoc-q27b36-27-1440p-1…
sorry forgot to mentioned the important bit hehe
will not be gaming, the monitor is purely for work ie spreadsheet pdf wordAh, just saw this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/886429 Looks better than the one you linked if you absolutely can't afford higher.

https://www.jw.com.au/product/asus-tuf-gaming-vg27aq1a-27-qh…In my experience, monitors are the one thing you don't want to really cheap out on. Cheap ones hurt your eyes and are annoying to get rid of. I'm typing right now on a monitor that I bought from MSY because it was cheap and high Hz and now I'm already looking out for an expensive ultrawide.
yeah true, still depends on the use case. i have one as my secondary monitor just to match my main 240hz, perfect for 200$ (aw2521HF)
Brightness: 250 cd/m2
Really? I'm typing on a desktop attached to an ASUS VG279. They use to be one of the recommended monitors back when I bought it. What happened to ASUS?
