This is the wireless version of the S1000mkII. Great deal at $259, they're usually $400 plus.

Rarely see the S1000mkII dip much below $300, so for the wireless version it's a great deal!
$299 https://www.centrecom.com.au/edifier-s1000mkiii-20-active-li…
but wireless looks like better deal here
I have this. They are good for a daily use speaker. Tidal connect is easy to use. Very attractive for this price.
Hey does anyone know of a suitable wifi sub that pairs with this?
you don't really need one unless you are after super deep&powerful bass that pretty much destory whatever you are listening to
This be good for TV as well as music?
It would be yes. Bigger speakers will do better for the TV if you have a big room or sit far away, but these will do better than most soundbars yes.
I would use it for TV over my soundbar but ARC is much easier for me with TV. Unless there's an easy way to connect to the Edifier
I use optical or line in and control the volume through me tv remote or tv. Zero reason for arc IMO.
@onlinepred: Hmmm you got me thinking now….I know edifier will have the better sound quality even through it doesn't have a sub
@adrianhughes1998: Yep for sure, I replaced a samsung 7.2.1 system with a pair of bookshelf speakers and even my partner noticed how great they sound - mostly that dialogue is always perfect, and you can hear ALL of the sounds perfectly, rather than soundbars boosting certain sounds/mixes to make them sound "better"
no brainer at this price
This was really timely, thanks OP. Bought one for the lounge room.
These are really nice speakers run for Spotify and Vinyl use in the living room. Very stable wifi / Bluetooth connectivity. They can bass boom a bit if too close to the wall.
They are surprisingly large and solid.
At this price a steal.
Ozbargained! These are great @ this price. I used to have the s1000db (wired version essentially) and you will be very hard pressed to find anything anywhere near as good at this price

OOS
I wonder if they still have this speaker instore for the same price.
I think it was online stock only. From memory all stores had an ETA of 3 days to get it in.
back in stock now
nah it's not
@DrDan: weird. I was able to pay for it just now. Order shows as in progress but also showing "Product no longer available." at the same time.
Looks like they've added more stock. Bought some, thanks!
My order got canceled without any notice from them. Did your order go through?
Have paid and gotten confirmation. Maybe the cancellation is coming though 😬
I had to look on their website under the account section
I am tempted, 259 would be a great (unseen?) price for the S1000mkII, but here it is on the wifi version!?
