The kogan sim now includes free shipping
It still say's 4.95 on the website but once you add to cart it shows $0 shipping and you don't need to enter cc details to purchase.

This deal is so good… they are giving them away!
Yep, im considering ozbargaining it and ordering heaps to use as gumtree burners/give to friends coming from overseas. If the 6 months expiry stated on the site is legit it's a pretty decent temporary phone for receiving calls, even the 90 days in terms and conditions are good.
Telstra $2 Sims aldo give you 6 months incoming, like Kogan.
But that would be wasting $2…
True, Brodan, True.
Allows 3 of each per order. i.e. 3 Nano and 3 Mini/Micro.
But then the free shipping is removed.
Good work!
already joined and ported number, took only about 30 mins once activated :)
None at their Warehouse!
Presale.
shipped on 28 December.
See what you actually get, if anything.
I may be cynical, but
Don't hold your breath!

Mine is showing $4.99 shipping when added to cart?
Hmm… shipping fees are added now?
Yeah it seems that way. Think they caught onto it.
Postage is still coming up for me. Anyone else ordered one with free shipping?
I got one. Now wait for it to actually arrive…
I got a freebie too :-)
postage is showing up or me as well.
Damn can't believe i missed it! :(
Shipping comes up for me.
expired already?!
Yes,they appear to have just startedadding fees.
In like the last 15 minutes,
Postage is coming up for me too.. it's all over.
Looks like it took them 15mins to fix that free postage bug. Bugga!
They're bloody monitoring this site!!!
Kogan Rep (whoever you are, we know you're watching, bring it back) LOL
I second this notion!
Got 3 thanks, great for house guests who need a quick sim.
I smell an order cancellation coming on.
Kogan staff mustve got an sms seeing all these SIM orders coming in,and quickly stopped it.
Imstead of saying 'hey, it was a bug in our systmes but hey, it is still good promo for our new Telco',they shut it down.
Last time with the camera lens coffee cups they didn't cancel it. It's good PR.
Got a shipping notification for a Nano SIM! Thanks OP
Shipping notification for Mini/Micro SIM too!
Not true, still a great offer for Telstra.
Not as good as Telstra-backboned LYCAMOBILE.$24 per month on Telstra network
That's 2G though if I remember correctly. This is 850 mhz 3G.
True.
I ordered one to test the service. Since moving to newcastle the optus service is crap.
The telstra signal is pretty decent - even the kogan version (2g?)
Since I didn't port my number over I had to order a 2nd sim so that I could use that to port my number over.
So far i've spent 10 bucks on postage. Doh! heh.
No kogan is telstra 3g.
Although you can force your phone to use telstra 2g if you wanted to for some reason.
I got a free sim included with my Galaxy S3 order
http://www.pcworld.idg.com.au/article/444517/how_fast_kogan_…
I rather a solid connection with usable speeds than a network that is inconsistent.
I'm getting lower speeds than Kogan and i'm with Virgin Optus.
why is this expired? im getting $4.99 at the checkout
edit: oh it's suppose to be $0 my bad
Even with the postage this is a good deal. Stay away from Liveconnected, terrible service and very rude staff.
Plus LC's new plans now sux
It's like the companies that start well but loose their focus and customers along the way - sounds more like vodaphone.
It's like with any company, the customers are "important" when they're starting out and have none, but once they start raking it in they get greedy.
Are these sims getting mailed out by registered post or they just arriving in the regular mail?
People who have already say Regular Post, which is why $5 P&H seems shonky.
Its good if you are going for 3 months Access plan which will bring down the per month charge to $26. But its not necessary that you will get the same plan after 3 months as they can increase the prices(listed on website). International rates are in some cases 10 times that of Lebara! Though to be fair, there is no call connect charge but per minute charge adds up in no time. Telstra 3G is a plus point but speeds are capped to 3mbps. There is going to be too much competition in the coming months. I'd rather wait for now for the prices to come down…
About bloody time.
It previously was $5.
That's not FREE!
If you want people to join your Telco, stop being scabby with postage!
