Stack with 10% everyday extra or other similar ones, and pay on GC

  • Anyone has any idea when it can be activated by? My current amaysim will go expire in May. Would be a good deal to continue on this one if allowed being activated by then.

  • Does the long expiry option include international calls? The Lebara website says it does not include international calls; only the 220GB Data inclusion and above do.

    • Yes, in the post description from Woolworths catalogue:

Up to 300 mins of std international talk, resets every 30 days.

      From Lebara:

      International calls
$3 international credit per 30 days using our XS Plan call rates, eg up to 300 mins per 30 days to 5 selected countries

Out of curiosity, how much difference does the 100Mbps cap make to 4G/5G? Some of these Optus resellers are 4G only - is 5G made pointless by the cap? Bit of a noob question, I know

    • I'm on Amaysim 4G (so, Optus). Honestly I don't notice any issues not having 5G any more, but then I'm not really doing any major downloads while out and about. For normal phone type use of just apps, music, email etc, it's been just fine (and in some cases better than Telstra/Belong/Boost. My partner is on Belong and in some places my Amaysim works better than Belong).

At this point in time at least, 100mbps 4G is just fine, 5G is kind of superfluous though obviously that won't always be the case.

  • In Sydney inner west and Lebara was the worst telco I've ever tried. Slow connection everywhere. That's about 2 years ago. Is it any better now?

  • Currently on a Kogan 365 day that expires in August sometime.

So, if I've read correctly I could get this and then close to Kogan expiry cut over to this one? I've used hardly any data from my Kogan one as I'm almost always on wifi.

    • Yes, you can.

        Cheers for the confirmation.
