80

Yeah I know norton sucks, but some people like it and for $5 I guess you can't go wrong.

Maybe you can get the cashback on it but someone would have to confirm

      Norton is horrendous.

Agree. Arguably as bad as the virus itself.

  • Link for Norton Cashbacks .. Valid untill 3rd Jan, 2013 .. Not sure if the product is covered though. You can confirm with centrecom.

Edit: The $40 rebate ("the Offer") is valid for any full-version retail box of Norton 360 3, 5 or 10 User pack; Norton Internet Security 1, 3, 5 or 10 User pack; and Norton 360 Multi-Device purchased from any Australian or New Zealand retail store between 22 October, 2012 and 3 January, 2013 inclusive.

    • But this is NIS 2012 so won't be eligible.

Yes because 'Norton Internet Security' wouldn't be covered under 'Norton Internet Security' rolls eyes

  • It's most likely a flat pack and therefore you can't get it. Anyway Norton has seemed quite good now that Symantec has taken it over. Buy away if you need a virus scan.

EDIT: OEM so DEFINITELY not eligible. Also double check I think it works for 3 comps even though it says 1 since Norton has changed all products to 3 from 1 for anti virus software.

  • Just ordered one, thanks OP!

Need an security software for my new laptop. not sure about the cashback, too good to be true!

    • Correct, also make sure to test it on more than 1 comp. IT should work.

      • THX, will try definitely! :-)

While i hate norton, my new laptop came with a year for free. It was easy to uninstall, so i hate it less than i used to.

    • That's good to hear. The version I used a few years bad was close to uninstallable.

      • You needed a special uninstaller from Norton to completely remove it from the system. I remember coz I had been "infected" by it. ;)

  • Sold out!

  • Norton Internet Security 1 Year - $5

    sounds worse than prison…

  • I buy norton 360 renewal keys $30 3 pc's from here http://www.cheapantivirusday.com/ he also sells kaspersky and bitedefender. If you dont have the software download the free version then use the key.

The website looks shonky but they work. I think the keys he sells are the ones given to pc sellers or builders.

    • Not as cheap as eBay keys.

  • Why pay $5 when you can get paid to use it?
