This is a sick deal. Been watching the fan price for some time now best I’ve seen been around 245 via tggc

    • Yep I nearly pulled the trigger at TGGC. To make this deal even better, a lot of retailers (TGGC, Costco) only sell the Black variant from what I can tell.

  • Is the fan battery operated

    • +1

Cordless & corded, outdoor & indoor, 20m range and 24-hour runtime.

Can be run either way, reminds me of the Xiaomi battery-operated fans. 24-hour runtime sounds pretty good, hopefully not overly optimistic.

This or vornado 633DC? anyone got review on those?

    • +2

Had bought vornado 633dc recently from good guys commercial for 182$ plus 9$ delivery. 633dc is decent for me. There is 5 years warranty. I checked shark flexbreeze and there is 2 years warranty. I believe for those wanting 2 in 1 combo for corded and cordless, this one is better. While, for warranty point of view, vornado 633dc is better.

For noise level of vornado, minimal noise until halfway, and after halfway speed noise level starts to become high. For me, i mostly keep fan below medium at night. So, has been alright. There is no remote in vornado, just a speed dial.

      • Same experience re: noise. I have it on a Meross smart plug for remote control. Wish I could make the speed adjustment smart but that'll be too much hacking for me.

Had it for 2 years now - and it's used 45kWh in that time ~$10 to run

I have some 633dc and plan to get one of these too , mainly for the water resistance and battery option and convert ability.

This is so weird. We were literally just in TGG yesterday looking at this, and decided to wait and see if there's a discount on it over Boxing Day sales… and here we are.

  • Thanks OP. Been looking at this for a while. Stacked the discounts and got one!

  • Thanks OP, ordered one. There is an offer for a water bottle instead of a blender if people prefer that too

  • Great deal, I’ve now managed to get the discounted GC however can’t see giftcard as a payment option while paying for the bundle. Do I need to be on desktop for this?

    • +1

Just use it under the coupon section

    • what are you going to do with the $30 balance on the gift card after purchasing this?

      • The total is $270, there is no left over from the $250 gift card

        • ah i see. thanks

  • Thanks OP, bought one

  • I bought the fan a month ago from David Jones for almost full price. It's great and this price is unreal, so I'm buying a 2nd for another room. I only wish they had the darker one available also.

  • is the misting attachment a gimmick?

    • I think it works to cool you down but I honestly wouldn’t want the humidity to damage everything in my home

      • I think its meant to be used outdoors. The misting works with a garden hose attachment.

I bought it because the price seems good… though admittedly I don't fully understand the value beyond a $30 pedestal fan besides portability. I'm assuming I'll be enlightened as well when it arrives!

  • I have a Breville Air Dynamic 3d (I may have overpaid in retrospect), how does this one compare to that, would anyone know?

    • that one has app control I think?

      • It does, I put Siri in everywhere though, so a little limited for me. Maybe I need some homeassistant in my life.

  • Thanks OP. Bought one. Been tossing between the bladeless one and this for sometimes. Now it's time to pull the trigger.

  • +1

Is this fan good value if you're only going to use it indoors?

  • Thanks OP! much apprecaited!

  • Seems expensive. Is it really that good?

I had a Xiaomi portable battery DC fan and that was the best but can't find it being sold anymore.

    Is this similar or better?

  • Was already looking for a blender, didn't expect to buy a pricey fan as well.

  • Do I use WELCOME10 to purchase the gc first, then use the code again to purchase the fan?

    • GC is already off

      Buy it for $200

Add fan combo to cart, apply couple WELCOME10 while using the GC for partial payment. You'll have $19.99 to pay via CC/Paypal etc

      • I just tried to use the WELCOME10 code while buying the GC and that brought it down to 180, not sure if that will work again while buying the fan itself, but worth trying, if that works, this brings this bundle to 200!

  • Any idea why title is $269.99 now?

    • Coz that's only applying Welcome10 discount.

  • Thanks OP, was considering Vornado 633DC but this one is more versatile.

  • +1

Not me reading title as missing attachment!! 🤦‍♂️and wondering what is the missing part for this to be discounted!

    • Just ordered thanks OP. $200 ecard plus $19.99 on card, totalling to $219.99.

  • Is it suitable for indoor spaces? How much water does it spray? Youtube shows it can go to a very high level of water output for outdoor purposes but I'm unclear on indoor usage.

  • Thanks OP!! Got the $500 GC and purchased two. Will use blenders as gifts.

  • Great deal - thanks OP. Was just looking at this at TGG Commercial for $243 yesterday.
I opted for the bonus Thirsti bottle instead of the blender but maybe I have regrets. Anyone have views on either of these bonus items?
this comment echoes some of my concerns.
I think I’d use an insulated water specialised for carbonated water more often than a blender where the blades don’t separate from the motor.

  • Thanks OP. I guess I do need a new fan :)
