This is the best cordless with empty station shark currently makes and is on par with the best from dyson. Lowest price I've seen for this, Shark Cordless PowerDetect Clean & Empty System $719.99 with free delivery use WELCOME10 discount code.

I personally have this one and its a dream, the suction is way better than my old dyson v10 it automatically detects the surfaces and and ramps up power accordingly for me a single charge does a 3 story townhouse in one go and I don't feel rushed at all. The empty station is powerful and bagless aswell so you don't have to worry about constantly buying bags.

  • Looks good! Currently have a v10 absolute plus with 2 double coated dogs. Anyone have any real life scenarios of this vacuum with very furry dogs?

    • There is a review in vacuum wars and just a dad on this.

    • Fine or thick fur? I have a very fluffy cat & love this vacuum. The main roller head attachment has a comb that kinda prevents all the fur from getting sucked up (in a good way, as it helps to prevent clogs but still sucks up other stuff). I just have to clean this after a big vacuum sesh.

I would say the biggest con is the weight, it's not something I'd recommend for an older man or woman with arthritis or similar issues.

      • Yeah i agree its a little heavy compared to dyson but the suction is way worth it. I have a cat & dog it deals with fur so good, the pet attachment is good for cleaning sofas. Best vacuum ive ever owned.

        • +1

How long have you owned it? I've got the Shark Apex Pro X2 Pet Stick Vacuum that has two batteries, I've noticed that in less than a year the battery life of both batteries has diminished quite a bit.

          • @Spaztik: It's normal with any hand held vacuums. High discharge takes a toll on the lithiums.

Keep the charge between 20-80% and don't charge the battery right after you use it. Main causes of degradation.
