+1. Have the same question. Have Tapo camera which has SD card support for local video storage but google camera doesn't have SD card option, so stores everything in cloud and without nest aware we can see only last 3 hours of video. So what's the use of this if we need recordings of video older than 3 hours.
I would stick with C210 and TP Link/Tapo. As mentioned and in addition: local storage, higher quality, night vision and can be rotated through app. All while cheaper.
I have google cameras for outside and tapo cameras during the recent deal.
The tapo is surprisingly good, and I would recommend it over the google ones.
I bought a 3 pack of the wireless ones and cant recommend ANYONE buy these unless they are going to pay $9.99 per month for a subscription, it gives you only the last 3 hours, not the last 3 hours of recording but the last THREE hours! not worth it.
Thanks. This helps.
yeah thats actually pretty good for a doorbell, no subscription, decent google app and see who rings the doorbell. Happy with that. Indoor cam i see less use for 3 hrs
Yeah I use this to monitor our pets, but the no recording can be frustrating if you're away for longer periods of time. Otherwise it's not a huge deal. With notifications on movement/sensors you get a quick enough response anyway
how does this compare with the Tapo C210 which is usually $44 for a two pack?
already have 2 x C210, am i missing out on anything here by not getting this?
