For Australia Day 2025 Ferrython, Destination NSW has invited NSW emergency service organisations to be our guests of honour on board the four vessels participating in the Ferrython to thank and celebrate our emergency services personnel for their work in communities across New South Wales.

The ferries taking part in 2025 are May Gibbs, Catherine Hamlin, Bungaree and Fred Hollows, each boat will be brightly dressed in honour of their namesake.

The race will commence at the Sydney Harbour Bridge, circling around Fort Denison twice before a final sprint to the tugboat finish line at the Sydney Opera House. Following the Ferrython, guests will be treated to a lap of honour around Circular Quay led by the race winner whilst previewing the spectacular entries in the 2025 Harbour Parade.

Removed Emergency services access code (which reveals additional ticket types) and found out can still access tickets for other vendors.

  access code is for NSW SES only - requirement is you need to wear uniform for this.

    I removed the access code originally and still had access to other tickets. Must have fixed it due to selling out within minutes.

    Some users on here are with SES and I can't stop new link being shared.
